The Man Who Was Justified

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. Here is a great example of repentance for salvation. He recognized Christ was the only one who could deal with his filthy sin. He turned to (repented) and called on Christ for His mercy. Recognizing Jesus was his only hope.

Many teach you must repent of sin for salvation. That’s false. Not such verse on Gods Word.

Gwendolyn Wehage Amen, Amen!!!! When we confess our sinfulness in this way there is no way we can have a sense of being better than anyone else. Arrogance has no place in the believers life.
