This is the kind of bear that came through our yard this morning in front of our window while we were having our morning coffee. I shouted to Rodger in surprise for him to come and see causing the black bear to take off running. He went down over our hill and out of sight. We couldn't move fast enough to get a picture so I found one on the internet that looked like him to show you.
Before we saw the bear our three animals, two dogs and the cat seemed very anxious to come in the house, they rushed in, not usually what they do in the morning. Just after that we saw the bear, so we are surmising that our animals knew the bear was in the area.
