Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

The True Church Meeting the Way God Commanded
I am excited that I see so many people on the internet denouncing the formalized church system God never called us to, but has been developing for the past hundreds of years.
The cultures of the world have been so indoctrinated that the church gathering must be in a building, others pray from that pulpit, everyone else sits in pews, while others pray from a position of authority and call for songs. Everything is led by the leaders who are seen as authority over the people.
In God's church gathering as described in the Bible, which can be anywhere at any time with anyone who is born again, everyone participates, no one has authority over another, and all is led by the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 14:26-27 26 What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a psalm or a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. All of these must be done to build up the church. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two, or at most three, should speak in turn, and someone must interpret."
Edifying the body when we meet is the goal so that we all grow in holiness and are able to leave the gathering equipped to speak the gospel to the world and to encourage one another in the Word.
May the Lord speak these things clearly and boldly to all born again believers.

Meeting Christ in the Clouds a Glorious Time
In the time of Noah and in the time of Lot, the two families were rescued by God from His coming wrath.
In these end times of apostasy, the family of Christ will be raptured out before God's wrath once again.
I Thessalonians 5:9-11 "For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore, comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing."
Every day we praise God for His love and kindness to us, and every day we edify one another in the Word so that we may have continual hope and joy as we navigate through this wicked world.
My hope is for believers to be enlightened to the truth, leaving behind all cultural standards to follow Christ alone. My hope is that those who have trusted Christ will be instrumental in sharing His good news with those who are not yet saved.
Those who have been left behind to experience the tribulation will have one more chance to trust in Christ before Christ returns the second time to destroy sin upon the earth.
The first time Christ came, He came with the gospel that many would be saved. When He comes in the clouds for His church, He will not come to earth but will snatch us up.
At the second coming, those who went in the rapture will come back with Him when He destroys evil on the earth. What a glorious time this will be.

No Greater Comfort than God's Word
Matthew 11:28-30 "28 …27 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
28 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
John 7:37 "On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and called out in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink."
Jeremiah 31:25 "for I will refresh the weary soul and replenish all who are weak.”
Revelation 22:17 "The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely."
John 6:35 "Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst."
Psalm 23:1-3 "A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name."
Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
May God's word comfort those who read it and obey it.
