No Brokenness No Salvation

Job 42:5-6
"I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear,
But now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself,
And repent in dust and ashes."

Every person who comes to God must come this way to be born again. Anyone who comes to Christ happily thinking they deserve to be saved cannot be broken over their sinfulness and will not be changed into a new creation by Christ.

Matthew 5: 1 When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.
2 He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

Psalm 51:16-17 "…16 For You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; You take no pleasure in burnt offerings. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise."

We Are Secure in Christ

Romans 8:37-38 "37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,"

Hallellujah, nothing that comes against us can change who we are in Christ.
