The Law and the Law Giver Lives in the Born-Again Believer

When we became born again the Law Giver, Jesus Christ, came to live in our hearts. Our bodies are the temple of the Law and the Giver.
Those who say we don't "have" to follow the Law anymore as though God erased it, don't understand that He fulfilled the Law in making it a part of our very being. Because He lives in us so does His Law.
Romans 13:8–10: “Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For this, ‘you shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not covet,’ and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, ‘you shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”

God Did not Abolish the Law He Fulfilled it!

God never abolished the Law, He fulfilled it! He just moved the Law Giver into our hearts and now that Law that lives in us convicts others of sin.
Jesus Christ is the Law Giver, He is the very essence of His Own Law. The only reason we don't "follow" the Law is because we have become the home of the Law.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 "19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.…"
Those who say we don't need the Law anymore are those who don't understand that the Law came to live in us when we became born again. We love the Law, the Law Giver, and everyone else who loves It and Him.
Romans 13:8-10
Fulfilling the Law Through Love
"8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."
Those who love their sloppy grace and rejection of the Law cannot be born again. They have not repented through brokenness in their hearts and they have not admitted what God said. Anyone caught up in these movements need to ask God if they are saved. If they are saved then they must adhere to the truth God gave us. If they are not born-again they need to repent and trust Christ.

Our Infirmities Can End Up Glorifying God!

It is wonderful, just think, God did not allow the doctors to figure it out so that His glory could be seen. Her infirmity eventually glorified God. Hallelujah!

If We Love God We Hate Sin

Because we are under grace we have Christ living in us and He said;
John 14:15 15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
Notice something about this verse? God says you WILL keep my commandments. If we fail then He disciplines us to bring us back to obedience.
1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 3:8-10 "…8 The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.…"
Those who claim sin doesn't matter anymore are lying against God.
HOW COULD ANYONE THINK SIN DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE WHEN CHRIST HAD TO DIE A BRUTAL DEATH TO PAY FOR OUR SIN?!!!
Sin doesn't become insignificant because someone else paid for it, this makes Christ's death seem like an entitlement. Since someone else paid the bill is it alright to waste the money?
Because Christ paid a brutal price for our sins, this alone should make us hate sin and defend obedience to Him. Did you know we can grieve the Holy Spirit? If sin didn't matter anymore because of that brutal death then why would the Holy Spirit grieve when we sin?
Ephesians 4:29-31 "…29 Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.…"
So you see, sin does matter so much so that the slightest bad attitude is enough to send unbelievers to hell and to cause God to discipline those who belong to Him.
For the unbeliever, it is their sinful nature that causes them to go to hell. For the believer, it is their disobedience to their Father that brings discipline from Him.
So, just to be clear, God hates sin in believers as much as He hates it in unbelievers.
Proverbs 8:13
“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverted mouth, I hate."
I don't think this is hard to understand!!! It is only hard to believe for those who remain in rebellion loving their sin.
