Joy at Your Task

If God is calling you to a task, no matter how small you think it might be, you are in the center of His Will when you obey Him and you are full of joy.

The Danger of a Hardened Heart

We cannot know whose heart has been completely hardened, but that doesn't matter, it is up to each one of us to ask God if we are one of those who have hardened our hearts. If we ask to be cleansed then we aren't one of them. Those who do not want to self-reflect are in danger of having a hardened heart.

Destroy: To Make Ineffective

1 John 3:8
“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”
"Destroy" here means to make ineffective. The devil will still try to ruin you in one way or another through various people but all his attempts will be "ineffective."
When we remember that we need not do revenge toward those who harm us we can leave the situation and our lives to Christ Who lives in us.
When we are walking in the Holy Spirit no one can cause us to react or respond badly to those who attempt to shipwreck our walk.
Romans 12:18-19 "…18 If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.”
One of the tactics of the devil is to cause us to act badly discrediting Christ through us. This is the same tactic narcissists use who are controlled by the devil. They poke at us until we become angry and then point the finger saying "see how you are", as though it was our fault they were mean.
When we know the maneuvers of the narcissist to destroy what God has built in us we can easily resist falling into their trap.
Proverbs 20:22 "Proverbs 20:22
Do not say, "I will avenge this evil!" Wait on the LORD, and He will save you."
James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"
No matter how anyone treats us, if we walk in the principles of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit we will have a clear conscience even when we are blamed for attitudes and actions that belong to the narcissist.
This is a very common tactic of narcissists and of the devil, they do mean things and accuse their target of what they do and the target is not doing.
We see this in politics, families, churches, at school, and work, it is everywhere frequently now as time marches toward the end of the church age.
Stop feeling guilty when you are falsely accused and begin praising God that He is protecting you. Resolve not to use the strategies of the devil and his narcissists. Learn the mentality of the Holy Spirit, pray for wisdom and trust Him to respond on our behalf. He can use our mouths to say and do the right things as well as enjoy the silence when we should not speak to those who will not listen anyway.
Praise God, He has all the answers and His Holy Spirit lives in us.
