Do Not Quench the Holy Spirit

When we do sin we have an advocate with the Father 1 John 1:9 and God disciplines those who belong to Him.
Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises every son He receives.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?"
Never think a believer never sins, it will cause pride in those who try so hard in their flesh to be perfect and it will cause harsh judgment on anyone who falls but repents.
1 John 1:8-10
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
These passages were written to born again believers not to the unsaved.
The more we confess our sin soon after we catch ourselves the more we grow in holiness and a change of behavior. We are not sinless but we do sin less, that is if our repentance was genuine and Christ changed us.
Those who become angry at being confronted with their sinful attitudes are those who have not been born-again. Those who are born again and are stubborn will be severely spanked to show them their need to confess their sin to be cleansed of it.
Without confession of sin there is no Spiritual and emotional growth, there is only immaturity and the quenching of the Spirit of God. Those who ignore the Holy Spirit conviction will cause the Spirit to go silent and leave us without instruction and without help.
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22
"19 Do not quench the Spirit, 20 do not utterly reject prophecies, 21 but examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, 22 abstain from every form of evil."

When Someone Is Not Willing to Change

Amen! YES, YES!!!!! This is what God has been telling me about so many people who have been in my life but were working to dilute my faith.

Freedom from the Opnions of Others about Us

Do not become in bondage to what others think of you. Tell the truth and take your lumps as all persecuted believers must endure.

The False god of Calvinism

The false god of Calvinism makes God out to be unjust and a monster, it is a doctrine of demons.
It is not "just" or "righteous" to create someone without a choice to follow Christ and then punish them for not choosing, that is completely irrational.
Jesus Christ said He wished that all would come to a saving knowledge and I believe Him.
1 Timothy 2:4-7
"who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time."
1 John 2:2
" 2 He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."
John 4:42
"They said to the woman, "We now believe not only because of your words; we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man truly is the Savior of the world."
Notice God said: "Savior of the WORLD", not just of some in the world.
Calvinism is a demonic doctrine discouraging people from evangelizing all people. They may say they believe in evangelism, but this too does not make sense. What would be the purpose of evangelizing those who have not been given a choice to follow Christ? It's nonsense at its worst.
We are living in times when people are twisting scripture to feel elevated above others, walking in pride they determine they are the chosen ones but they cannot tell you why they think they are chosen. Do they believe they are chosen because they believe Calvin? Or because of a particular doctrine they espouse? What evidence do they have that they have been chosen and not others? Just asking!!!!!!!!!!
I reject Calvinism and all its foolishness and pride.

Zechariah 12:1-10 Israel will be attacked and God will protect her!

Jerusalem to Be Attacked & Protected by God
"1 The pronouncement of the word of the Lord concerning Israel:
The Lord who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of a person within him, declares:
2 “Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes staggering to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah.
3 It will come about on that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will injure themselves severely. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. 4 On that day,” declares the Lord, “I will strike every horse with confusion and its rider with insanity. But I will watch over the house of Judah, while I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
5 Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are a strong support for us through the Lord of armies, their God.’
6 “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves, so they will consume on the right and on the left all the surrounding peoples, while the inhabitants of Jerusalem again live on their own sites in Jerusalem.
7 The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem will not be greater than Judah.
8 On that day the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them on that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord before them.
9 And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of pleading, so that they will look at Me whom they pierced; and they will mourn for Him, like one mourning for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn."
