Satan Knows How To Distract Believers

Satan is working mightily among the Christians with scare tactics about all kinds of things. Fear of the quality of the food, fear of 5G, fear of chemtrails and on and on. Science proves these things are not harmful, but too many people have bought into this nonsense they even begin to feel physical things in their bodies from the fear that they have over what they had heard.

I suggest to you that if they had never read the conspiracy theories they would never feel these things. The power of suggestion can be devastating. All these things we read on the internet that are warnings, God has made it clear they are nothing more than the tactics of the devil to make Christians seem crazy so that unbelievers will not listen to them.

These fears are causing a diminishing Christian witness. I live around these things, I feel and see nothing because I do not fear them.

When we read something that makes us fearful it is seeping into our mind affecting our good sense.

2 Corinthians 10:5

"We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,"

Philippians 4:8

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

Philippians 4:7

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds

in Christ Jesus."

Colossians 3:2

"Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."

When I see a continual bombardment of conspiracies, even if they were true, there is never a solution for them except to engage in conversation about them. I am watching the Christians walking in fear, speaking more of these things than Christ as well as fighting with others about it.

The devil has been very clever in distracting the believers from their calling of the gospel. Every time we focus on this world we are showing unbelievers we are as fearful as they are and that we have nothing more special than them.

I challenge believers to take an entire month sabbatical from all conspiracy theories, only writing about Christ. I guarantee those who do this will find more peace and even have a change of mind, a cleansing of the world from their heart and a greater love for the Word of God.

Matthew 22:37

"And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."

The Cult of Dominionism

All the scriptures the "Dominionists" use to justify taking back the country for Christ are out of context. There is a movement now that is called "Dominion Theology" that teaches Christians to take the world back for God before Christ can come. This is clearly and devastatingly wrong. This is why we see such a push for Christians to get involved in politics. This thinking has permeated the modern church.

"Knowing the ways of the enemy" as stated in the Bible has to do with knowing the tricks of the devil to be able to discern right from wrong as well as discerning evil people who may come as angels of light. There are many tricks the devil is using right now to distract Christians and make them look silly in the eyes of the unbelievers.

We are not to know all the details of what evil people are doing in the world, it is a distraction keeping us away from the Great Commission, not to mention dividing Christians against one another.

One way this happens is when a politician who is not born again, but claims to be a Christian, comes along and acts like a pagan without the fruit of the Spirit. He holds up a Bible to pretend he knows what's in it while violating most of its principles.

Galatians 5:22-23

"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.:"

There are no scriptures that tell believers to get involved in politics to save their country. Just the opposite.

Philippians 3:19-21 "…19 Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and their glory is in their shame. Their minds are set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables Him to subject all things to Himself, will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body.…"

Those who place their trust in the government, their freedoms and other things cannot be sold out to Jesus Christ. When we place our trust in Christ we do not fear the foolishness that goes on in politics. We see it, it disgusts us but it does not emotionally devastate us.

Matthew 28:16-20

The Great Commission

"16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated to them.

17 And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.

18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

20 teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Philippians 3:20 "20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,"

Don't worry about what is going on, it is not our world, we are staying in this foreign country to bring Christ to those who are lost and to encourage those who are brothers and sisters in Christ.

So many are distracted about the goings-on in this world they are diminishing the witness for Christ. If we are to be an example for Christ we cannot be putting out brush fires that are prophesied to happen.

When the unbelievers see us angry and agitated over the things of the world they have no reason to think we are any different from them or that Christ brings a new perspective to life.

This world is advancing toward the one-world government and the great deception, using many things now to cause "even the elect to be fooled." God said it was possible and here we are watching many Christians fearful, saddened and appearing to be without hope as their example to the world of the life of Christ. I grieve over the diminished witness of the believers today, but know God also said this would happen.

Matthew 7:21-23

I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

Some people getting caught up in the political hype are believers who are saved but have allowed the things of this world to distract them.

My prayer now is that authentically born again believers would take their eyes off of this world and put them back on Christ!

Luke 21:28 "…27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Brothers and Sisters, our calling is not this world, our calling is not to save a nation. Our calling is to bring the gospel to the unsaved and to encourage the believers to keep looking up!!!!

Please pray for discernment and direction! Please pray the Holy Spirit will give you back your perspective, that is the Kingdom of God.
