Forgiving While Neglecting the Command to Confess!

Why do so many people quote verses about forgiving but neglect the ones that say to confess and repent? Both are necessary and two sides of the same coin.
When we say to one person to "forgive" but don't say to the offender to "confess", we are playing favorites, the offender skates to plunder another day but the offended must grovel before the offender. Makes no sense according to the Bible.
And, let me be clear, we don't become bitter when someone will not confess to become forgiven, the one who will not repent is bitter.
Born-again believers love to forgive when there is genuine repentance, but also know that the offenders remains in his sorry state without growth or peace until they repent. To say we forgive for our own sake is selfish, we ought to be concerned for the relationship and reconciliation based on that whole coin; confession and forgiveness.
Also, it is a form of bad parenting to allow offenders to have no consequences for their actions.
Luke 17:3-4
"If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him.”
Notice in this passage that the offender is coming to say I repent every single time. Why do so many people ignore this!?

Looking for Exciting Miracles Shows Little Faith

Anyone looking for "experiences" in miracles has little faith. Great faith is when we believe God even though we cannot see what He is doing.
Matthew 16:4 " 4 A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Then He left them and went away. "
Hebrews 11:1
"11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
I don't need to see any more of a miracle than the fact that God gave me life and all the words in His Bible that show me the prophecy that has been fulfilled.
I see His handiwork in every tree growing from a tiny seed into a tree 200 feet tall. I see His work in the flowers, the seasons, the blue sky, the night sky and everything else we live with every single day.
Those who need to see unusual miracles are missing blessings of thankfulness every day all around us.
Did you know the scientists cannot figure out what holds the planets together, its the hand of God, I can't think of a bigger miracle than that.

The Holy Spirit in Every Believer

The Holy Spirit lives in every born-again believer, He is the authority over the person in whom He dwells. No man can be authority over a person who has the Holy Spirit, that would mean that person has authority over the Holy Spirit.
When we look to men for our authority it is the same as ignoring the Holy Spirit in us.
Those in leadership lead by example and by preaching and teaching not by authority over. Everyone who preaches and teaches is accountable to all the others who have the Holy Spirit.
John 16:13-14 "13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…"
Notice that everyone participates in the Body and everyone is subject to the Holy Spirit. If one party forgets to speak from the Holy Spirit another person will correct and help them return to truth. No one is exempt from correction or teaching.
2 Timothy 2:23-25 "…23 But reject foolish and ignorant speculation, for you know that it breeds quarreling. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and forbearing. 25 He must gently reprove those who oppose him, in the hope that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth.…"
In this passage, this translation says "able to teach" for a leader but the original language conveys; "teachable himself." A leader is only qualified to teach if he is teachable himself.
May each one of us seek the Holy Spirit to fulfill what He has called us to do. Let us not think up our own way but seek His will for us.

We All Have A Calling

Everyone in the body of Christ has a job to do, no one is above another, the jobs are just different. No one is more valuable than another just different.
1 Corinthians 12:14-26 "14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell?
18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 If all were a single member, where would the body be?
20 As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,
23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty,
24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it,
25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together."

Idols are an Abomination

If someone speaks to a statue expecting to get prayers answered they have an idol. If someone prays to a dead relative they have an idol and are practicing necromancy.
Psalm 115:5-8
"5 They have mouths, but they cannot speak;
They have eyes, but they cannot see;
6 They have ears, but they cannot hear;
They have noses, but they cannot smell;
7 They have hands, but they cannot feel;
They have feet, but they cannot walk;
They cannot make a sound with their throat.
8 Those who make them will become like them,
Everyone who trusts in them."
Deuteronomy 18:10-13
"10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, a soothsayer, one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who consults the dead. 12 For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God is going to drive them out before you. 13 You are to be blameless before the Lord your God."

I Love Him Because He First Loved Me

"He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
Isaiah 53:2
Someone just unfriended me and said she lost all respect for me because I said that Jesus Christ was not a handsome man that anyone would desire Him. I was merely quoting Scripture.
I presume that in order to love Jesus Christ she has to believe He was handsome even though God said He was not. It is human nature to love those who look good on the outside and to despise and ignore those who are perceived to be lacking in good looks.
God didn't want anyone following Him merely because He was handsome. He wanted them to love His Son for His character and what He would do for mankind.
It is common now for someone to interpret your words in terms of how they think and unfriend you before you have a chance to explain.
I do not love Jesus Christ because of the way He looked, no one knows how He looked except those who were with Him at the time He was on the earth. I love Jesus Christ because He loved me so much that He died for me and gave me eternal life.

The Monstrous Doctrine of Calvin

Punishing someone in hell for not choosing Christ when God never gave him the ability to choose Christ is the monstrous doctrine of Calvinism. The best way to deal with this false religion is to reject it entirely!
Calvinists say God pleasures in the death of the wicked in hell.
God says the opposite!
Ezekiel 33:11 "Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?"
Someone is either a Calvinist or they are in Christ, it is not possible to be both. When the first thing out of a Christians' mouth is "I am a Calvinist", I know they are dedicated to Calvin more than Christ. Otherwise, we would hear something more like; "I follow Christ."
God clearly told us not to follow any man.
1 Corinthians 3:3-5 "…3 for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man? 4 For when one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role.…"
Notice that using a man's name to describe yourself comes out of pride. It also elevates the men they follow to the level of a god, it is idolatry.
If a man quotes the Bible and speaks the Words of God then we are to give God the glory, the glory that belongs to God should never go to man.
John 16:13-15 "…13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you. 15 Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine and disclose it to you."
It is a monstrous sin against the Holy Spirit to follow a man. Think about it!

Turn to Christ Before its too Late

There are those who think we can turn this country around and thwart the globalist agenda. No one can stop it, this has been prophesied by God in the Bible. All the signs are converging, all are appearing.
What we can and must do is speak about the Lord to the lost when led by the Holy Spirit and uplift the believers with the truth every chance we get.
There will be only a few now who will trust in Christ because we are in the end times of apostasy. And, sadly many people who think they are going to heaven will be led astray into the antichrist system. I don't mean the technology, There will not be huge revivals of authentic Christianity.
The system of paganism based on false gods with the antichrist claiming to be the christ will be the new religion of many. The false religions of the world are coming together to form one religion dedicated to the antichrist who will rule the world for seven years with such fierce anger that everyone will suffer.
In the first three and a half years Israel will be in peace but the world as a whole will be in continual devastation by natural disasters and plagues such as the world has never seen before. When the antichrist breaks the treaty with Israel his wrath will begin with rage no one can imagine.
There will be stinging locusts worse than anyone can imagine.
Revelation 9:7 The appearance of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle, and on their heads appeared to be crowns like gold, and their faces were like human faces.
8 They had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions.
9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle.
10 They have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt people for five months.
11 They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon."
These are devils led by Apollyon the destroyer, angel of the bottomless pit, to torment the people with misery.
There is a terrible time coming for those who have not trusted Christ. Now is the time to ask God Who He is and Who is Christ. Then turn your heart to Christ to be saved from hell and from the terrible trouble coming on the earth after God takes out His people, the born again believers. You can be with us when we go, all you have to do is confess your sinfulness to God and ask Christ to change you into a new creation.
1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

It Matters What You Do According to the Word of God

Have you ever heard a person tell you it's not a big deal when we use rituals that are not in the Bible or disobey Him to glorify Him, as long as we assign Christian meanings to them?
I have heard this a lot: "it doesn't mean that to me, I have my own reason for doing it, to glorify God."
Might I remind believers about the man who steadied the Ark of the covenant? Do you remember what happened to him?
Uzzah the man who steadied the Ark
1 Chronicles 13:9–12
"9 And when they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzzah put out his hand to take hold of the ark, for the oxen stumbled. 10 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he put out his hand to the ark, and he died there before God."
Uzzah could have used the same excuses today for disobeying God's commands. He didn't believe God could take care of His own Ark. Uzzah thought with his own mind instead of obeying God. It is likely that Uzzah thought he was going to help God in his disobedience.
It matters that we seek God to obey His way instead of making up our own plans because we like them.
Those who began the one-man-pastor system thought they were helping God when they devised their own plans to develop schools to educate young men for the ministry. But there are no commands in the Bible to do this, it was concocted by men who thought they knew a better way than God gave in His Word.
Here is what man's ways produced: arrogant and rigid pastors who thought they knew more than others who were led by the Holy Spirit.
It caused a division between pew people and pulpit people, allowing the pew people to become lazy at Bible reading and prayer because they now have a paid pastor doing it for them.
Many people leaned on the paid pastor to be their spiritual guide i for them through rituals and songs chosen by the pastor. God made it clear that we were to lean on no one exept the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:14
"be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God."
John 14:26
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you."
Galatians 5:16
"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."

Beware of Anything New

Beware of any new Jesus movies, any new promotion of revival and any new discovery not mentioned in the bible. we are living in the last days full of very very clever deception.
Most things are appealing to feelings and desires rather than truth from the Bible. The more emotional something makes you feel probable the less it is of God.
God wants us to reason with our minds. Sometimes there will be emotion involved in the joy we feel as we reason, but there will never be that joy without reasoning. When feelings are the only reason to like something then we need to back up and begin to ask; "is this of God or am I allowing my feelings to drive me."
Defining Reason: "a cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event."
1 John 2:15-17 "15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world— the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life— is not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever."
We can expect movies, concerts, and false Christian events to come fast and furiously now as the end of the age approaches. The antichrist is preparing people to become emotionally out of control, living almost entirely on following their feelings without thinking. Our generation is more invested in how they feel than what they believe and why. Our generation likes to do the fun easy thing rather than have to be set apart.
Romans 12:2
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
In fact, many people become angry when we challenge them to think about what they are doing, the mind cannot wrap around anything but "feelings."
When we challenge them in a kind and friendly manner they accuse us of things to intimidate us into silence or to make us feel ashamed of messing with their happiness. These are typical ploys used regularly now as "Christians" resist obeying Christ.
I have had people say to me; "you have ruined our fun." I ruined their happiness by questioning why they were doing what they do, not in a snarky way but in a friendly way. Many cannot tolerate questions about what they do because they are dedicated to their temporary happiness rather than Christ.
Mildly raging at us for our desire to obey Christ and expecting others who say they are believers to do the same, is the new normal. Laughing at us and calling us names is common now toward those who love the Word of God and speak it.
Proverbs 29:9-10 " 9 If a wise man goes to court with a fool, there will be raving and laughing with no resolution. 10 Men of bloodshed hate a blameless man, but the upright care for his life.…"
What do we do about this? Here is the answer: keep speaking truth as led by the Holy Spirit, keep reading the Word and obeying it and keep looking up, we are going home soon. Hallelujah!!!!

Complete the Ring in Prayer is Cultic

Did you know something that all occultists know, that "complete the ring" is required to call the spirits of dead people into the room during a seance?
Have you ever asked the question why some Christians hold hands in ring fashion around the table when they are saying the blessing?
I began to question this practice as I do all practices with the desire to know where they originate and whether or not they are Biblical or have value. Did God institute this practice of hand-holding or was it incorporated from paganism?
The devil seems to love making up rituals that detract Christians from worshiping Christ in Spirit and in truth. The best way to distract a person from Christ is to give them a ritual that makes them focus on the fuzzy feelings of the ritual instead of on Christ. The more emotionally happy a ritual is the more people tend to want to keep it. Letting go of it makes them feel as though they are doing something wrong. They will even judge others who don't do those rituals.
Next time someone says, "let's join hands in prayer", simply quietly and humbly decline to do it and watch what happens. Some of the people in the group will think badly of you for not participating in the ritual.
If we are not thinking and we are just doing rituals we are A-musing" meaning not to think. This is what amusement is about, watching something without thinking has a more brainwashing effect than when we have to think.
Hollywood has promoted for years the hand-holding at the table when the families pray and notice those families are usually Catholic.
Christians rarely ask why we do certain things because those things seem so warm and fuzzy. My concern is that the Christian community is often emulating the occult when they do rituals or practices that have no basis in Scripture. They don't know what they are doing, but that's the sad thing, why are they not asking the question; "why do we do this."
When we analyze all the rituals Christians have adopted in the church it is astounding how many come from paganism and cultic sources.
What do Christians think is happening when they hold hands to pray? Do they think there is more power in the prayer, that would be occultic? Do they think they can connect with the people around the table in more solidarity, that would be man-centered? Do they think there is more of a connection to God for practicing this ritual, which would be sorcery?
Matthew 6:7-8 "And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him."
Colossians 2:8
"See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ."
Matthew 15:3
"He answered them, “And why do you break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?"
John 8:32
"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
A challenge to the believer might be that whenever we see a Christian ritual, actions that we take we think are for God, we ask Him if this is His idea or another unbiblical ritual that does not please Him.
By the way, there is no insignificant action, they all produce feelings and a mindset either for God or for the ritual.
