Do Not Fear Writing or Speaking the Word of God

When the Lord leads us to post or quote scripture we need not worry about who might be offended. Those who are believers will love it, those who are offended are not.
When we speak from the word of God we need not fight with anyone who dislikes it, we can tell them to go and fight with God, because it is He Who wrote it.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 "16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.…"

Narcissists are Everywhere in These Last Days

Do you see narcissists everywhere now, as though there has been an explosion of them in the past few years?
Having been raised in a narcissistic family I have been recognizing them for years but wasn't always sure what I was looking at, now I am acutely aware of a narcissist I have met for the first time.
I can see them everywhere because we live in a culture of narcissism. There are a few people I know who are lovely people but very few compared to hypersensitive, selfish, and self-exalted people.
Most people are seriously resistant to correction of the mildest sort, even to help, they see as a personal attack. We can sense strongly a narcissist more than ever now as we approach the end of the age.
We can see them spiritually and even in their physical stance. I believe its because they have a way of presenting themselves even without words that exude arrogance and self-righteousness. The facial expressions and even the way they walk down the street express arrogance.
God says in the last days there will be perilous (ragingly insane) times in which people will have terrible character as described in 2 Timothy 3:1-5
"2 Timothy 3:1-5
(Perilous: ragingly insane) Difficult Times Will Come
"1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."
As we read each word of this litany of terrible character traits and attitudes we can see why narcissists excuse such a dramatic indication of their end-times mentality.
Narcissists cannot express themselves without displaying these traits. They are most seen when someone disagrees with them or refuses to adhere to their mandates.
Narcissists expect those around them to elevate them, schmooze them, and above all obey them. They have no sense of what is best for others, only what is best for them. Even when they are doing a good deed it is always peppered with what is in it for them.
James 3:16-17
"For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere."
James 3:13-15
"Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic."
Notice God said that these evil character flaws are demonic. Those who walk in this manner are being influenced by devils. It is not possible for a born again believer to be so completely overtaken in narcissism,.
Sadly there are many within the church who walk this way, many who are not born again. Even many preachers who have attended Bible college are of this sort.
We are seeing the great apostasy occurring now as we near the end of the church age. Those who claim to be Christian but were never born-again.
Matthew 7:21-23
I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
These verses in Matthew are in my estimation the most frightening passages in the Bible. Imagine believing you will go to heaven, full of your pride at how good you were, but being turned away from entering, as you are cast into hell.
2 Corinthians 3:5-6 "5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Can’t you see for yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you— unless you actually fail the test? 6 And I hope you will realize that we have not failed the test.…"
