Evil Hates Good

The devil and his followers hate it when we obey God. They will call good evil, to cause false guilt that manages to silence the believer who is weak.

Yes, God Knows Our Hearts

Next time someone has sinned and says, "The Lord knows my heart", be sure to remind them that the heart generates the actions, the actions prove the heart.

If you have sinned, then you have sin in your heart.

There is a remedy for this condition, that is to confess to those we have harmed and to God, then He will cleanse us of that sin. However, God will not cleanse anyone who refuses to admit their sin or pretends they have not sinned.

1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

James 4:6-7 "6 But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “- God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.…"

The Mind Generates the Actions

It is what is in the mind that creates actions. All the actions of the world are generated first in the mind. This is the reason God looks at the heart, even when no actions are occurring.

We do not have to do an evil act to have an evil heart. However, an evil act proves what is already in the heart. There are many people who restrain themselves from doing the acts that are in their mind, simply because it is better for them in the society to restrain themselves. This is why we see evil actions emerging more vigorously when the laws against sin are relaxed or removed. It is also the reason the world is becoming more wicked, the restraints and laws are being removed.

The phrase "You can't legislate morality", is the silliest idea in our time. God said that laws were made for the lawless. Those who are righteous have no need of laws, they don't wish to do mean and evil things. It is those who love evil that need to be restrained. Even good people may be tempted at times, but will consider their own heart and confess to God to be further cleansed. Laws make us think about our actions, they help the righteous man in times of temptation and restrain the evil man who has no conscience.

Psalm 51:10
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."

Ezekiel 36:26
"And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."

Jeremiah 17:9
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?"

Matthew 5:8
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

Jeremiah 17:10
“I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”

Word Salad on Steroids

Just one hilarious example of how gullible people will be in the end times.

When all that is required to sound intelligent is to string together a lot of big words and even concocted ones, there will be many fooled.

LOL, LOL!!!! I am not an engineer and I saw the silliness of this video. My husband is an engineer and couldn't resist sharing it with me.

When you hear so many new ways of looking at the scriptures, beware and remember what you heard here.

Also, remember Clive Lewis, an evening talk show host who is famous for "word salad." He strings a whole lot of impressive words together and at the end of the sentence there has been conveyed no meaning whatever.

This is the way cults operate, they think they are intelligent by making up phrases that confuse others and have no meaning at all.

Kind People

Kind people are loving and kind when no one else is watching and to everyone.

Our Companions Matter

To "hang out" with fearful people will only diminish our walk with Christ.

Those who are not fervent toward our Lord will only attempt to hold us back, through dismissiveness, boredom and intimidation, in order to shape us to become like them. The pressure of these people comes in many forms, from low grunting and mocking facial expressions to out and out verbal disparagement.

These people will attempt to demean our courage, showing contempt for us when we are led to be bold.

Fearful people diminish the courage of brave people.

We are fragile in our walk, when we look to people for acceptance, we cannot be bold for Christ, the minimizers know this.

Our mission is to stop looking to people for acceptance while looking to Christ for strength to be what pleases Him.

Galatians 1:10 "10 Am I now seeking the approval of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ."

We are commanded by God to walk with those who are powered by Christ. We are weak in the flesh, we need the encouragement of godly people or sometimes to walk alone with Christ in a time when it is difficult to find others who agree with us in our own communities.

Those who are not concerned about becoming companions of those who love Christ, most likely enjoy those who do not love Him. Perhaps they have an idol, "acceptance of men" or even are more comfortable with sin than righteousness.

It is foolishness to walk with ungodly mockers who serve only to deplete our courage and resolve to obey Christ. For me it is better to be alone with Christ than surrounded by those who despise His ways.

Proverbs 13:20 "20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will suffer harm."
