Loyalty Should be to Christ Alone

Image may contain: 1 person, text that says 'One of the most troubling problems within the church today is the unwavering loyalty to a "Christian" personality rather than to Christ and His Word. The unwillingness to test every man's teaching with God's Word, coupled with a stubborn lack of discernment, produces fertile ground for deception to flourish. Mike Gendron ProclaimingTheGospel.org'

The Apostate Church of America

The church in America is apostate as a whole. There are some believers who have not given into the lies of the devil but most have. They focus on this world, pleasure and excitement far more than they think on Jesus Christ.

When to Speak and Pray

If you sense that no one is listening don't give up, keep obeying God. He may tell you to stop speaking or He may tell you the time is right to speak. He knows, one thing we should not do in our day of apostasy is listening to those who are not obeying Christ. Those who obey the culture will be tainted with the thinking of that culture. They do not think with the mind of Christ. We must seek Him alone in our day.

Noah preached many years (120 possibly) and no one would listen and no one would be saved except the members of his own family. 8 people and the animals were on that ark when God closed the door.

Genesis 7:15-16 "…15 They came to Noah to enter the ark, two by two of every creature with the breath of life. 16 And they entered, the male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD shut him in."

Jeremiah was commanded to preach to the people, God told him they would not listen but he should preach anyway.

Jeremiah 7:26-28 "…26 Yet they would not listen to Me or incline their ear, but they stiffened their necks and did more evil than their fathers. 27 When you tell them all these things, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer. 28 Therefore you must say to them, ‘This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the LORD their God and would not receive correction. Truth has perished; it has disappeared from their lips.…"

Then there are times when God says not to bother praying for the people.

Jeremiah 11:14 "14 As for you, do not pray for these people. Do not raise up a cry or a prayer on their behalf, for I will not be listening when they call out to Me at the time of their disaster. "

How do we know when to speak or pray and when not to do these things? Its very simple, seek the Holy Spirit and He will guide you.

Above all do not follow your feelings they are not accurate, they are full of the flesh.

Judgment Based on People Group is Sin

When the world rejects God it moves into the realm of insanity, lacking rational and reasonable thinking. Racism is one of these forms of insanity.

This is funny! In high school decorating class we learned that "white" was not a color, nor is brown or black, they are neutrals. There is no such thing as a "white person" or a "black person", everyone is a shade of brown created to be in the region of their make up.

Light tan people, like me, were better suited to cool regions for the winter weather.

Dark brown people were suited more for hot weather in the desert and tropical regions.

Every human being has all the genes for every people group. There is just one dominant in each family.

God made only one race! Cultures are different for each people group but we all have the genes for every people group within us. Only mankind can use this to divide and pervert this mucking up relationships with the help of the devil.

Racism is silly based on nothing important. It reminds me of the Hatfields and the Macoys feuding with one another for generations and the grandchildren still hated one another but didn't know why. It might be hilarious if it weren't so sad. Idiocy on steroids.

Each human being must be evaluated on the basis of their character personally, not what their fathers did or what their children do but on them alone.

Ezekiel 18:19-21
19 “Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity?’ When the son has practiced justice and righteousness and has observed all My statutes and done them, he shall surely live.
20 The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son’s iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.
21 “But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed and observes all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die."

I think we can use this passage in Ezekiel to related to judging a particular people group based on the skin color or culture of the people in which they were raised. To judge people on these things alone is foolish at best. Each man or woman stands alone before God for who they are, not which culture in which they were raised.

I am not like the culture I grew up in nor can my character be judged according to the people group in which I was born. I refuse to judge anyone else on superficial things according to appearances and I am convinced no one else should do this either.

John 7:24
"24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”
