Confession and Forsaking

Sister Karen said this:
"The Lord is willing to forgive what we are willing to forsake."

YES! God tells us to confess to be cleansed. Confession is an expression of true sorrow over our sinfulness. If someone cannot confess they will not be cleansed. Nor will any change they try to make in themselves will be permanent.

Pretenders confess to avoid the consequences of their sin, not because they are sorry they offended God or someone else.

Born again believers confess to be changed by God into a more holy person.

Ephesians 2:10 "10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

The 5 Primary Emotions Of Narcissism

This has been so evident in those I have known who are narcissists. They cannot relate to anyone who will challenge them to think a different way. They are deeply fearful people. This is why we should not take them seriously when they react in anger over the silliest things.
