Confident in Christ

Our Savior and King is coming soon as Ruler and the greatest military leader the world has ever seen!!!!!

The Avenging Judge is Jesus Christ!!!!!

When you are tempted to be discouraged by what you endure now, the evil people who seem to be getting away with their antics, never fear, knowing that soon it will all be judged and dealt with in justice.

In the mean time stay close to Christ Who lives in you, He can be everything you need. There is no need to allow the spiritual darkness to over take you corrupting your witness, when Christ fights on our behalf.

The scars they leave on your soul.

There are those of you who, from early child hood, been treated with disdain, contempt and mocking, you couldn't figure out why this was happening.

How many of you out there were treated with this kind of contempt, where you were constantly confused about why those in the family were treating you as though you were the cause of everything bad in the world.

You agonized in your thoughts before you were saved, "what could I have done differently, what was it about me that makes others dislike me? " The translation was, "no one could ever like me." Or so the wicked family members attempted to make you believe.

Then when you became born again you asked the Lord, "what was it about me" or "what did I do that those who were suppose to love me, treated me in such demeaning ways."

Then the Lord answered, He showed you that it wasn't about you at all. Of course you were not perfect, as no one is, but the ways they were treating you were not commensurate with your flaws.

Even when you would do good things or accomplish something, they were mocked, demeaned or ignored as though you were a non-entity.

When you are exposed continually to narcissists who must feel superior to someone, and you are that someone, there is nothing you can do to win their love, because they have no love.

Being better and bigger than you is their goal, they are jealous and unhappy themselves, so they work at making you experience their own feelings. They transfer their deficit of self to you, if they can make you the problem then they don't have to face their own demons.

When narcissists do this to young children and then carry that process into adulthood as though their target never grew up, they leave scars on the soul of their target that follow them the rest of their lives.

The plan of the devil is to use the narcissist to inflict these injuries, leaving remaining scars to keep the target from God. If they can make the target bitter and angry for the rest of their life, they will never come to Christ, or so the devil thinks.

The good news is that the devil and the narcissists working together to accomplish this can leave those deep scars but they do not have to control the victim.

The scars that are left by the narcissist perpetrated by the devil can be diminished and conquered through the knowledge that God saw everything that happened, He knows what you will become in Him, the devil and His minions no longer have power over you. They are defeated foes.

We can even pray for the narcissist, keeping our distance to avoid their arrows, but never allowing them to make us bitter or angry.

The goal of the devil is to keep victims from coming to Christ through the deep wounds of the narcissist. Don't let the devil have the victory. Allow Christ to change you, grow you and keep you until He comes for you.

Matthew 13:19
"When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road."

Matthew 13:38
"and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one;"

John 8:44
"You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

Do not listen to the lies of the devil and keep his minions at a distance while you pray for their soul.

Pretense Does Not Please God

Some things people love are false gods and do not realize they are. That is pictures of a man depicting Christ. If it is not a real picture of Him, which does not exist, then it is a false Christ. God is not pleased with pretending in matters that pertain to Him.

Godly Response to Correction

God commanded us to remove ourselves from anyone, even family members who claim to be Christian but refuse to hear a rebuke when they are in sin.

Romans 16:17
"Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them."

1 Timothy 6:20
"O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called "knowledge"--

Titus 3:9
"But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless."

2 Timothy 2:19
"Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness."

Those who belong to God have an empathetic and loving spirit, not perfect but most of the time. When we see someone who claims to be a Christian and walks in a haughty and superior attitude every time you encounter them, you may be witnessing someone who is a pretender.

Loving, kind and godly people do not do mean things to manipulate those they wish to control.

The godly believer has no desire to control anyone, even themselves, they want the Holy Spirit to control their actions, reactions and responses.

the Lord desires that we have sweet fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ, nothing is done to elevate self.

Philippians 2:2-4 "…2 then make my joy complete by being of one mind, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.…"

When even our good deeds are done to impress or manipulate others, we are not walking in love and it is disobedience to God's Word.

Matthew 6:3-4 " 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.…"

Those who wish to control others must realize they are gaining nothing, in this life or the next. They will only serve to drive off those they wish to dominate, while being judged in eternity for their selfishness.

3 John 1:3-5 "…3 For I was overjoyed when the brothers came and testified about your devotion to the truth, in which you continue to walk. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. 5 Beloved, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers, and especially since they are strangers to you.…"

Those Who Think They are to Good to be Chastised

Have you ever met those who believe they are above others, even so high up there that they were beyond any correction or rebuke? Here is what God says about these people.

Luke 18:8-14
8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt:
10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed[a] thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’
13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Most Will Not Be Saved

2 Timothy 3:13
"13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

What we might not have realized is that in the last days "most" people will be evil.

The most frightening thing for any pretender is the Matthew 7 verses that describe the fate of many who think they were saved but they never had a born again experience.

Matthew 7:21-23
I Never Knew You
"21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
