Narcissists Live in a Fantasy World Based on their Own Feelings

A narcissist cannot be accurate about us because they base everything they think about others on how they wish to imagine them.

All Good or All Bad?

If a narcissist likes you, they will see you as all good; if they dislike you, they will see you as all bad. Their idea of you is based on feelings, not an evaluation of the whole person.

When we can see the good and the flaws in everyone and still love them, we have reached a level of love like that of Christ.

This does not mean we accept the error or bad; we may call it out to resolve any problems that come, but this does not mean we hate someone. It is love to attempt to reconcile a relationship through open dialogue.

When this is not possible, and the person who offends will not engage, then we have no choice except to walk away and leave it to God.

Those who harbor secrets, lies, and gossip in their hearts will never be open and honest; everything they do will be based on making themselves appear superior or special. It is not possible to reconcile with someone like this; they are hell bent on remaining angry and disrespectful.

Proverbs 29:8-10 "…8 Mockers inflame a city, but the wise turn away anger. 9 If a wise man goes to court with a fool, there will be raving and laughing with no resolution. 10 Men of bloodshed hate a blameless man, but the upright care for his life."

The world is full of problem people because we are living in the end times when everyone does what is right in their own eyes and despise the things of God. Even many who would claim to be Christians will act like heathens because they may not be born again.

The next passage is a description of the end times church mentalities, having a form of religion but do not know Christ.

2 Timothy 3:1-5
Difficult (ragingly insane)Times Will Come
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."

This is clear that in the end times we will be avoiding many people because this antagonistic mentality is culturally widespread.

May God maintain in us a steadfast love for Him and His Church as we navigate through a fallen and depraved world hell bent on turning people against Christ. May we be the exception and light in the culture in which we live.

Soon it will be Over and then We can Rest

Sins and mistakes are confessed quickly by born-again believers; they hate the sense that they have displeased God and they hate hurting anyone else.

Those who are pretenders do not feel conviction from the Holy Spirit because they are not born of God. They excuse their bad behavior because they have no connection with Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:14 " The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises every son He receives.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

1 John 3:9 "No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God".

The reason we become confused about salvation in our culture is that we have been trained to believe words that people say, no matter what their actions look like.
I have been told I cannot know the heart of a person who is sinning on many occasions but this is incorrect. The Holy Spirit in me has disclosed to me the heart of a person through His Word.

He said that we can know them by their fruit.

Matthew 7:15-20
You Will Know Them by Their Fruit
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

Righteous people do not defend a lifestyle of sin; they hate sin and confess it to be cleansed when they have been weak and succumbed to the temptations of the devil or their own flesh.

1 John 2:1 "1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One."

1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Romans 8:34
"Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us."

Unsaved people do not have an advocate with the Father; they are on their own, unable to understand the ways of God.

When the unsaved attend church gatherings, they tend to misinterpret many things because they have not been changed by Christ and cannot understand Him or His ways. They interpret Scripture according to their own mindset and their desired cultural ways.

Many false doctrines have entered the church buildings today, brought in by those who want the safety of God but do not love Him. They want His perks and blessings but they do not want Him. We know this by their resistance to truth and correction from the Word.

Christ is called "The Word", to negate His Word, the Bible is to negate Him.
We see a lot of this in these end times when there is only a remnant of believers left on the earth compared to the population of the world. Satan is working feverishly to undermine God and His children.

Keep looking up, brothers and sisters, it is almost over, and then we can rest.

They Call Good Bad and Bad Good in the Apostate Churches

Narcissists accuse others of what the narcissists are doing and the others are not. Having said that, it is important to remember that liars will accuse us of legalism when they are practicing it. Legalism is expecting adherence to man-made rules God never made, but obedience is following the commands of Christ, two very different attitudes. Those who have accused me of legalism were practicing it themselves when they made unbiblical rules for others to follow.

Rudeness is not Confidence

There is a difference between confidence and rudeness. Confident people do not need to be rude; rudeness is often a sign of fear. Those who are confident have no need to control others or intimidate them, but fearful people often use these tactics to frighten and upset those they wish to exert power over.

2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind."

Proverbs 15:12 "A scoffer does not like to be reproved; he will not go to the wise."
Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Fearful people interpret confidence as being ill-mannered because they are intimidated by those who are calm and unaffected by others.

Confident people are free to love people God's way because they have no need to appear superior or control others.

Satan was jealous of the love God had for Adam and Eve and for all that God gave them in the garden, so Satan set out to destroy the relationship between mankind and God.

The devil's favorite tactic was to make the human couple unsure of themselves and distrustful of God.

We see this today in relationships all the time, especially in family dynamics peppered with gossip, lies, and innuendos, to cause ill feelings among the members. The tactics of the devil are alive and well, working to demolish the family structure, removing the support system of those within the family.
Mankind is more easily destroyed when the family structure is demolished. In these last days, the devil has been working hard to weaken believers in Christ through lies, intimidation and isolation. He is foolish and thinks that those who have been changed by Christ can be tempted to hate God for lack of human companionship.

When we walk with Christ, He is enough for us. We continue to love people as Christ loves them and are comfortable alone with Him. When we meet someone who loves Christ, we are delighted knowing they are our family for eternity.
Those who do not love Christ, perhaps even pretending to be Christians, will not love as Christ loved; they are deeply dependent on being the god in their own lives and resent the born-again believer who does not depend on them, but only depends on Christ.

Believers walk in love and confidence without the need for validation from people. We walk with Christ when no one goes with us. And we love others, treating them with the respect they did not extend to us, when people do not love us back.
May believers become more Christ-like as they walk in truth not emotion.
