Time to Think About Eternity

Today is the day to become born again. NO!! I don't mean to decide you are going to join a local church. Joining a church gathering or calling yourselves a Christian will not save anyone from hell.

When someone realizes they are a sinner on their way to hell they have a choice to continue being lost and remain in sin or to ask for Christ to change them into a new creation.

When a person confesses that they are sinners without hope knowing that Christ is the only way to be saved from their sin and from hell, then they can become born again.

Christ will not change anyone into a new creation who doesn't believe they are a sinner or that they are incapable of being a good person. One must admit their lostness and their depravity having a desire for Christ to change them in order to be saved.

When a person has confessed that they are a lost sinner in need of Christ and desire to be saved from sin and hell, then the Holy Spirit of Christ will come to live in them, changing their nature entirely.

A born again believer no longer tries real hard to be better, their very nature has been changed into the nature of Christ when they are born again. All that is needed is to believe that Christ paid the price for your sin and He does all the rest in you.

He saves you, He cleanses you and He takes you home to be with Him when you die or are snatched away in the rapture.

Ephesians 2:10 "10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

2 Corinthians 5:16-18 "…16 So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Although we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:…"

If you want to go to heaven then you must be born again, it is your choice.

John 3:1-15
"1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;
2 this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”
5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
9 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can these things be?”
10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?
11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony.
12 If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
13 No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man.
14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;
15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life."

One Crime Does Not Cancel Another

If a criminal dies during the commission of a crime by the hand of an out of control officer, then there are two criminals instead of one. The first criminal who was being arrested and then the officer who disobeyed his authorities in the capture of the first criminal.

Did we get this!!!!!! An officer who goes bad and does wrong does not cancel out the fact that the criminal being arrested was lawless, he still remains a criminal. There are two criminals, the perp and the officer.

Celebrating the life of a criminal simply because he died in the commission of a crime makes absolutely no sense at all.

Sorry if this offends those who love people more than God. Who love to protect those who are lawless.

1 John 3:4
"Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness."

When the culture pays more attention to protecting the criminals than they do the victims of criminals, something is desperately wrong.

Celebrating the death of a man who is caught in the commission of a crime is forgetting entirely the victims. The people who were robbed are nothing to those who protect and celebrate the criminals.

Why is the public not coming alongside the victims? The victims deserve the care and attention not the cirminal.

This culture has fulfilled the passage about the last days that say everything will be opposite and upsidedown.

Isaiah 5:20-21 "20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.…"

2 Timothy 4:3
"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,"
