Proverbs 12:1-2

"He who hates correction is stupid."
1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. 2 The good man obtains favor from the LORD, but the LORD condemns a man who devises evil.…"

A Servant Must Be Teachable

2 Timothy 2:24 "24 And a servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and forbearing. "
This verse in English leads people to believe that a teacher of the word must be good at teaching. This is not the case. The English in this verse does not do the meaning justice.
The verse actually means: the teacher must be teachable himself. Those who are teachers of the word must not be quarrelsome, pretending to know it all so that others may not correct him.
If a teacher is so arrogant that they expect others to merely believe them without requiring Biblical proof and without any correction are not qualified to be a teacher.
1 Peter 5:2-3 "…2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over them not out of compulsion, but because it is God’s will; not out of greed, but out of eagerness; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. "
1 Corinthians 14:29-33
"29 Have two or three prophets (those who expound on the word) speak, and have the others pass judgment. 30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, then the first one is to keep silent. 31 For you can all prophesy (preach the word) one by one so that all may learn and all may be [a]exhorted; 32 and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets; 33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."
The word prophesy here does not mean telling the future, it is pertaining to speaking forth the word of God.
If there is only a one-man pastor there is likely error, without correction and accountability. Mankind has the tendency to become lazy, neglecting the study of the word for themselves and allow others to tell them what to believe. This is improper and spiritual laziness.
Every born again believer ought to be learning on their own alone with the Holy Spirit, ready to give an answer when a matter is addressed.
John 16:12-14 "
…12 I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it. 13 However when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…"
It is the Holy Spirit Who leads us into all truth, not any man. Men help and others share at times but ultimately it is the Holy Spirit Who teaches us.
If anyone is rushing to the "pastor" or anyone else to find answers before they have prayed and asked God, then they are depending on that person and not on Christ.
When the truth is spoken from the Holy Spirit whatever is said and done will glorify God. Anything done in the flesh falls to the ground without value and is often in error. The flesh cannot speak the things of God, it must be the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 11:2
"The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him--the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD."
1 Timothy 4:1
"Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,"

Jesus Christ is Our Guide and Strength in these End Days

Beware of the flying monkeys of the narcissist. In recent years I heard from a flying monkey who came on behalf of the narcissist to accuse me of things this person knew nothing about except the false testimonies of the narcissist.
One of the tactics of the narcissist is to send a flying monkey to pretend to be your buddy while asking questions to draw out thoughts against their narcissist friend. This kind of drama is common with narcissists and their flying monkeys. They cannot exist without drama and hatred.
When the flying monkey has extracted information, no matter how innocent, they will return to the narcissist to report all the mean things you said, even when you said no mean things. They are on a mission to attack you on behalf of the narcissist while at the same time fueling the contempt of the narcissist toward you further.
Beware to be drawn in by their over-the-top friendliness if you know they are close friends with the narcissist. These flying monkeys love their gossip, targets to demean, and their sense of power over having information. Know that they never have accurate information, it's all based on their feelings and the false testimony of the narcissist.
I know this tactic well personally because of all the narcissists I have encountered in my life. In the old days these people might be called "double agents", they work one side against another pretending to be an ally of each side. No one actually knows which side they are really on because they are pretending constantly.
When they see they cannot influence you to come over to their side they will attack you through every means they have available to them. The wise thing to do is to block them from everything.
When we encounter people like this we must remove them from our lives, they will cause nothing but problems with their attempt to convince others against us. They will take very small matters and blow them up into monstrous things to impress the narcissist.
Once you find out someone is a flying monkey it is best to remove them from your life, they cannot be reasoned with. Any attempt to reason with them will be met with arguing, lying, and mocking. The devil is behind all this as he twists the mind of those who love their gossip.
Narcissists are liars and so are flying monkeys. We know who the father of lies is, it is the devil and he seeks to destroy relationships just as he did in the garden with Eve. He worked to turn Eve against God by getting her to distrust God. He convinced Eve that she could be like God and that she didn't have to listen to Him, she could do as she pleased.
John 8:44
"44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies."
1 Peter 5:8 "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."
The devil is working hard in these end times to turn families and friends against the born again believer. He uses many tactics but he also believes if he removes the love of people from our lives we will become weak and unable to obey Him.
The devil does not know that the born again believer who is guided by the Holy Spirit does not need people to feel validated or loves. We have the Holy Spirit Who provides all that we need even if we have no one else who comes alongside us.
Micah 6:8
"He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"
Isaiah 41:10
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Amos 3:3
“Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?"
1 John 2:6
"Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked."
Romans 12:2
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
In these end times, it will be hard to find many people who love the Lord, or who are authentically born again believers. We are living in times similar to those of Noah's day. When everyone does what is right according to their own base human standard and not according to the Bible.
There are far more pretenders in the church now than born again believers, we can expect to be mocked and rejected by many who say they are Christians but have no interest in obeying God's Word the Bible.
Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8 ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’ ”…"
This is the state of the church in these last days before Christ takes out His church. We need not be alarmed by this, it is prophesied in His Word to help us detach from the world and carry on for Him.
Isaiah 29:13-14 "13 Therefore the Lord said: “These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men. 14 Therefore I will again confound these people with wonder upon wonder. The wisdom of the wise will vanish, and the intelligence of the intelligent will be hidden.”…"
God is revealing the truth to born again believers, they see and sense things most people cannot understand.
The pretenders do not understand, they live superficially based on their feelings or physical senses without the enlightening of the Holy Spirit. They cannot understand, they argue what they do not know and despise anyone who does understand. Expect this, do not let it motivate your actions or reactions. Stay to the Word, be led by the Holy Spirit, and move on to wherever God takes you.
When we are led by the Holy Spirit we will be under attack by the devil and the people he uses.
We do not have to be controlled by the devils minions, his flying monkeys, we can be controlled, steady, and joyfully by the Holy Spirit.
Hallelujah!!!!
