We Shall Be Like Him

Narcissists are people who are terrified of others who are not like them.

Often in families, we see a dysfunctional dynamic that requires everyone to be exactly like the dominant ones in the family. This is the reason the narcissists will rage when the scapegoat will not think the same way they think.

This is also the reason the born again believer is chosen to be the scapegoat. Even cliques in churches will have scapegoats who are not allowed to be a part of their clique.

Those who love the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart and desire to seek Him for everything will not be a part of the clique because the clique relies heavily on social and cultural standards more than on Christ.

Born again believers will always be on the outside of cultural Christianity. The wonderful thing is that born again believers are brothers and sisters with one another. When someone is born again another born again believer can sense that deep connection brought about by Christ living in each of them.

1 John 3:1-2
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will have not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see him as he is."
