While everyone else is talking about the latest science fiction movie, I am pointing out all the cultic practices in it, not to mention the blatant lies against the One True God.

Ashamed of the Gospel
Those who are embarrassed to boldly speak the gospel or the words of Christ from the Bible, are most likely harboring sin in their lives.
Those who are too prideful to be exposed to ridicule they know they will receive from gospel rejecters, cannot be walking very closely with the Lord.
When we are free, emboldened by the Holy Spirit, forgiven of our sin and love the Lord we have difficulty holding back the truth.
Everything we do, say and are, is based on Christ living in us. When a subject comes up in conversation the first things that come to mind are the things of God. His answers, His responses and principles.
Yes, this is irritating to those who have one foot mostly in the world, they hate for us to rain on their parade of pleasure with principles from His Word.
Since we have little need of pleasure, nothing we do is threatened by a word from the Lord. On the contrary, it brings great joy for His Word to be applied to all that comes up in our lives every day.
Romans 12:12
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."
1 Peter 1:8
"Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,"
Romans 14:17
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
Proverbs 10:28
"The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish."

The Blindedness of Psychology
So many people are indoctrinated, or brainwashed to believe things the Bible does not teach.
Our foundational belief determines how we operate and how we treat people, even how we view God.
When Psychology is the basis for believe, this system is dominated by human effort, human reactions and responses. Even though some things in psychology happen to be right by accident or human observation, the overall premise that man is basically good is deeply flawed leading to the opposite reactions to righteous teachings.
The basic foundational belief of the people of this country is psychology, the view of forgiveness is in error, thwarting God's purposes in accountability, even fantisizing things that are neither true nor effective.
That same psychology of human nature teaches man to do what makes them feel good or better, such as bailing out of responsibility if it does not meet with our personal desires or hopes, such as lenient attitudes toward divorce and remarriage, the focus on feelings over rational and reasonable responsible to life.
God teaches responsibility, noble actions for the sake of others as well as self sacrifice for a greater good.
In psychology the greatest good is self esteem. Anything that violates this premise of "self first",or love of self, is treated as wrong and mean.
The only solution to the problem of self esteem and the anti-Biblical foundation of psychology is to become born again, get to know the Savior and begin to think with His mind. Reading His Word and asking for wisdom from the Holy Spirit will open the eyes of the most spiritually blinded person.
Seek Christ and you will not be fooled by the world's wisdom.

Don't Believe the World
There are many things in our culture that people actually believe are Biblical but are not. They are convinced of concepts that come out of psychology, even reading the Bible and seeing with psychological eyes the meaning written there. At close inspection and in context of the rest of the Bible we see these ideas are not from God, the devil has blinded people's eyes.
The key to this problem of psychological blindness is to ask the Holy Spirit for clear meaning, desiring to know truth even if it means swimming up stream against the culture.
Believers have placed too much credence to the "educators" as though they can know more than the Holy Spirit.
When we see those who mock the Holy Spirit, dismissing Him as a "concept" rather than a person who teaches and guides us, we will not hear Him, in fact He will stop speaking to us. We must want His guidance for Him to speak to us.
Matthew 12:31-33 "31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. 33 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit."
Isaiah 59:2 ". 2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. "
Proverbs 1:27-29 "…27 When your dread comes like a storm And your calamity comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. 28 "Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently but they will not find me, 29 Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD.…"
Jeremiah 7:26-28 "…26"Yet they did not listen to Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck; they did more evil than their fathers. 27"You shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, but they will not answer you. 28"You shall say to them, 'This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the LORD their God or accept correction; truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.…"
We are now living in a time when most Christians will not listen to the Holy Spirit, they will not consult Him but worse they don't even want to hear from Him or about Him.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
Keep in mind that if everyone around you, even the ungodly are believing something to be true, it probably is not a principle of God. We live in a time when the devil is causing people to follow their own hearts rather than God's principles.
In a sentence: If the world loves it and teaches it, then it is probably wrong.
