The Gospel Rather Than Politics

Far too many believers are wasting time on politics because they don't know prophesy, I include myself in this assessment.

Believers, please take a new direction this next year, get into prophesy, pray for discernment and receive the joy that comes from knowing what is going on right now and that our safety is in Christ, not physical peace and safety but spiritual and rooted in prophesy, the things that God told us would happen. They are happening before our eyes and the deception is great, that as God said, "even the elect will be fooled." Don't be fooled, seek Christ in all things and rest in His peace.

John 4:23-24 "…23 But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” "

America and the Titanic, the Similarities

O.K. now that the election is over, how about we, the believers stop looking to what our new president might do for the nation and begin to pray for the wicked hearts of the people.

We could argue all day long about whether or not our new president, if he is ever actually sworn in, will do to make our country safe, but the reality is that we, as a country are the "Titanic", we are going down for the count because of the hearts of the people that live here.

When the Titanic was going down, no one said, get buckets and bail, they simply went about the business of saving individuals. We need to be about speaking the gospel, living to please Christ and looking to the hope of our Lord returning in the air for His church.

As believers we were not placed here to save a nation, we are here to spread the gospel, no matter what condition the nation is in.

Let me remind everyone too, that the church grows during persecution. If there is enough of it, then the goats/pretenders begin to reveal their true hearts and those who are born again become more staunch and bold.

Proberbs 28:1-2 "1 The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, But the righteous are bold as a lion. 2 By the transgression of a land many are its princes, But by a man of understanding and knowledge, so it endures.…"

Believers we need to stop living our life by our emotions and begin thinking with our brains. We need to stop looking to this world for a safe existence and begin trusting Christ while holding fast to His principles.
