Evaluating Ourselves Will Improve Our Temple

Beware not to take to personally things that are written on Facebook.
Often people say well-meaning things that are not personal and not offensive but those reading will interpret them according to their own mindset.
If someone has guilt in their heart about something they may become hurt or angry thinking you are directing it at them, when all you are doing is writing what the Holy Spirit directed you to write, it might not have been personal to anyone in particular.
One rule of thumb to follow is to take what is said and ask God if it is true about you. If it is then you have an opportunity to confess it to be cleansed and grow in holiness. If what was written does not pertain to you then you can praise God that truth was spoken one more time and that God knows where it must go to help others.
Those who love the Lord take delight in the truth especially if it helps them eradicate any sin from their own hearts.
I have said before that we need to expose the sins more often because they are what need fixing. The good is already where it should be, but those messes are in need of repair.
Remember when we purchased a home we had an inspection to be sure the house was sound? Our lives are the same way, we do not report all the things in the house that are already fixed, we expose the things that are in need of repair.
Ephesians 4:15
"Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,"
Ephesians 4:25
"Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another."
We are God's house, and our bodies are His temple. It ought to be common and consistent to evaluate how our house is doing so that we might prevent a problem or fix a problem that has arisen. Keeping our house in order is part of the regular maintenance of our souls.
John 8:32
"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
1 John 3:18
"Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."
John 17:17
"Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth."
James 1:18
'Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures."

The New Nature!

When Christ changes us into a new creation it is not our work it is His. We cannot undo what He did when we desired to be changed by Him. God does not throw away sinning children, He disciplines them.
Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises every son He receives.” 7Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"
Even the smallest bad attitude can cause us to go to hell before we are saved because it is not about individual sins, it's about our sinful nature that God will not allow into His presence. When we become saved the Holy Spirit moves into us and begins the process of cleansing. Jesus Christ covers our sinful nature with His Holy Spirit so that when God the Father looks at us He sees Jesus Christ, not our sinful nature.
When we understand the incredible miracle Christ did in us when He sealed us with His Holy Spirit we would not spend one moment wondering if He saved us "eternally", we would just praise Him for His ability to save us and keep us.
The more we focus on works to remain saved the less we glorify Christ. Everything becomes fear about "doing it right" rather than what Christ did in us and what He can do in us.
1 John 1:8-10 "…8If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.…"
Those who confess their sins and desire to be cleansed by Christ will grow in holiness and humility.
Those who do not confess their sins will not grow, they remain spiritual and emotional infants. Or, worse they may not even be born again. Something to think about.
Ask God!!!!
