The Modern Person Will Believe Anything Now

Wow, did you know that many people fell into this deception on the internet when it first came out? In fact, I met people who saw this video and were hooked that it was real, even attempting to create their own banana-kiwi at home in a pot of dirt.
When I told one woman that she should try this because she would not believe me, she said she would do it. I told her that she would find a rotten piece of kiwi and a rotten banana at the end of it because it is a scientific impossibility.
This woman was too lazy to try it but continued to believe it anyway. I think when we see this happening we are watching someone who "chooses" to believe something without caring whether or not it is actually true. Evidence and labs are not necessary when "feelings" are on the throne.
This is the irrational world of the internet we are living with now. Many people are simply believing whatever someone says on the internet without too much concern about whether or not what they hear is true as long as it feeds their particular desired opinion. Opinions now do not have to be based on anything as long as there is a desire to believe something. Watch the video!!

Warning About Believing Media

We need to warn believers not only about the liberal media but about the conservative too. So many do not realize how easy it is to photoshop a picture, only show 10 seconds of a video, and other tricks that lead someone to believe what they want.
Everyone is doing it all the time now. It is best to ignore all media, except some good preachers, and ask the Holy Spirit to show us as things present themselves to our personal lives. If they do not come to us we should not go looking for them.
We do not need to go looking for wicked things to expose, we will know them when they are presented to us because we know the Bible well.
Philippians 4:1-9 "7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable— if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think on these things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.…"
Knowledge for knowledge's sake is Gnosticism and only serves to puff up the pride in those searching for it. They search to know to be able to boast of what they think they know.
However, in these last days, most if not all news sources are filled with spin and lies to convince their listeners of what they want them to believe. There is very little truth left in these days of apostasy.
I have observed that many people who search the filthy and garbage being disseminated in the world today know more about this filth than they know about the Word of God. Often even twisting the word of God to fit their knowledge.
Whenever someone comes to you with "secret" knowledge it is a good idea to dismiss it as hearsay and gossip. Since we cannot prove anything they say and even they have not seen for themselves what they believe, there is no way we can authenticate what we hear or what they say.
The internet is the superhighway of lies and deceptions, as though it is acting as a huge tabloid newspaper. Remember those newspapers at the checkout stand that claim all kinds of fantastic things, having been proven to be completely fabricated. Well, the internet has much more sophisticated ways of twisting pictures, videos, and print.
The only pure truth we can find is in the Bible through the instruction and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
John 16:13-14 " 13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…"
When we enjoy too much worldly news we will be led away from Christ not toward Him. The internet information becomes addictive and believable even without proof.
The warning is to spend much more time reading God's Word and praying than we do on anything else.
Remember God said it is the Holy Spirit Who leads us into all truth, not the internet.
