Growing in Wisdom and Holiness

Sins should be falling off all the time throughout our lives as we grow in holiness.

God does not teach us all lessons at once, we are in training and must learn each lesson separate from each other lesson to really know them at a gut level.

Anyone can have head knowledge about things, but until we experience them we only have thoughts and ideas, wisdom comes from the experience of them.

1 Corinthians 8:1-2 "1 Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. 2 The one who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know.…"

2 Peter 3:17-18 "…17 Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things, be on your guard not to be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure standing. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen."

We don't have to experience every sin to know what sin can do. We only have to battle the sins within ourselves, seek Christ for the cleansing and lessons and every principle we learn will apply to every sin we have done or anyone has done.

God more often gives us wisdom through our experiences, relating them to all that we encounter. If we have ears to hear and hearts desiring to know, God will give us our desire, that is to be cleansed and to grow in holiness.

James 1:4-6 "…4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.…"

1 Peter 1:14-16
"13 Therefore, gird your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,
15 but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; 16 because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

The more we obey as we seek Him, the greater level of wisdom we will gain. God will not give us wisdom if we do not use what He has given us.

Protection Only For A Time

2 Chronicles 20:12-17
“… For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You … Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel … thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s … You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!” Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”

God has provided a way for safety for now, at least for a time!

Our enemies are coming to destroy us, destroy the means of the gospel and carry out carnage on our people, it is right and just to oppose them.

So far God has provided our president to do this on our behalf, God will use whomever He pleases to protect those who belong to Him.

I am convinced that it is because of the believers in this country that God has done this thing in protecting us for now. Soon we will be taken out and there will be no protection for those who have rejected Christ.

Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

God Told Us What To Expect

This is the way it is for believers, get used to it and praise God that He knows about it and has our backs!

Micah 7:6
For son treats father contemptuously, Daughter rises up against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man's enemies are the men of his own household.

Correction is not Rejection

"Correction is not rejection, it's direction.rection is not rejection, it's direction." Karen Puff Rosenkrantz

Yes, in our ultra sensitive culture brought on by self esteem, it is almost considered rude to correct, even in the mildest terms.

Proverbs 12:1-2 "1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof is stupid. 2 A good man will obtain favor from the LORD, But He will condemn a man who devises evil.…"

Pressing on in Christ No Matter Our Feelings

Every believer has a job to do, each one is called to God's purpose, but everyone is not called to do what everyone else is doing, only what God has called them to do.

1 Corinthians 12:12-26 "12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves[d] or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many.
15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell?
18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.
19 If all were a single member, where would the body be?
20 As it is, there are many parts,[e] yet one body.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,
23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty,
24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it,
25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together."

We should be encouraging the saints as they endure so much persecution in these last days. Many feel very alone and are perplexed at the tactics being leveled against them. We must encourage one another to continue to the finish line, no matter how we feel, just like a runner would do no matter how fatigued they are, they press on to the finish.

Some will be called to evangelize and some will be called to build up the faith of the saints, and ALL will do some of both.

Keeping My Eyes on the Creator

Believers, keep your eyes firmly on Christ alone, He knows what is to be done and where everything is going, we can trust Him.

Matthew 24:23-25 "…23 At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you in advance.…"

I agree that we must keep our eyes on Christ and not place trust in anyone no matter how good they look. There is far too much behind the scenes that we can never know in all these political dealings. I am not looking to save America, only to live for Christ where He planted me. He is in charge of all the rest.

Yes I voted, and I voted for Trump, but have no trust placed in him, only in Christ. NOW, lets watch and wait to see what GOD is going to do through all this mess.

Denounce Lying Wonders

We are seeing many more "miracles" of people who claim to have been to heaven, even though the Bible says that only one went there and was forbidden to speak of it.

Paul went to the third heaven and was not permitted to speak about it. That leads me to believe that anyone who would go there would not have details about his experience.

Devils can bring things into the mind that make us think we have seen or done something that never happened. This is exactly what is happening in the alien sightings all over the world. No one has been abducted and no one has been through all the things they claim they have been through, it is all demonic dilution to make people think what is untrue and unreal is actually happening.

God said there will be no more signs other than the sign of Jonah. Every "new revelation" not seen in the Bible is divination, not from God.

Matthew 16:4 "4A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Then He left them and went away."

We do not base our faith on what we can see with our eyes but on the Holy Spirit Who lives in us.

2 Corinthians 5:6-7 "…6 Therefore we are always confident, although we know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.…"

Those who need to see a sign or hear a wild miracle, actually lack faith. We have our own miracles every day as God provides for us, protects us and never leaves us as we go through life's challenges. That should be enough, the Scripture full of promises and encouragements are enough for a believer filled with faith in Christ.

The great deception in these end times will be lying miracles from the anti-christ. In other words not real miracles but demonic manifestations and appearances that are illusions.

Do not believe the stories you hear about trips to heaven and back. If you have trusted Christ, he is all we need, we need nothing more. What have we lost if we dismiss the fabricated stories? We lose a diminishing of our faith.....what a good thing to lose.

I need no new stories added to what God has already told me in the Scriptures, He is enough for me.

Luke 16:26-31 "‘Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— 28 for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham *said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’"

God made it clear that no one needs any more of a sign than that which He provided in His Word. My suggestion to the brethren is to ignore the accounts of so called "miracles" and place your faith in Christ alone as given to us in the Bible.

Trusting Christ Only

Be careful not to place our trust in ANY man for our human desires. God's purposes are far bigger than ours.

When we place our trust in Christ alone, nothing man does, any man, will unnerve us or altar our resolve to follow Christ nor will anything take away our joy.

Psalm 62:1-2 "I am at rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from Him.
2 He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my stronghold; I will never be shaken."
