Clay Pots in the Oven

I have noticed that when we try to be our own righteousness it doesn't last, it is too much hard work to maintain that which is not in our hearts.

When we don't try and we trust God, His burden light, and the change He made in us, never reverses, it becomes a part of our very being, not something that we have to portray in front of others.

Ephesians 2:10 "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

Has anyone else noticed that some people who seemed so godly when they were younger, regressed as they got older? All the things they used to be against they were more tolerant and even defensive of, because there was no longer a desire to fight the good fight. They were fighting the fight in their own flesh, which is all worn out.

I think this is because much self righteousness was going on in the younger years, there was the strength to keep up the pretense, however as the person gets older, it is too much work and there was a letting go of the pretense allowing the real inner self to emerge.

When Christ is doing our righteousness, there is no regression or reversing, only permanent and effortless grace that keeps us, sort of like a clay pot. When the pot is in the moldable soft condition, it can be shaped and changed, but once it is baked it can no longer be changed, it is Rock hard, never to go back to what it was before.

The Harlot of Revelation

Matthew 13:24-28 Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26 But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. 27 The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’

Revelation 17:4-6 woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality, 5 and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery, “BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” 6 And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered greatly. 7 And the angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

Dead Beat Men Do Not Pay, Dead Beat Women Kill Their Babies

Who is worse? The man who will not financially support his children or the woman who will not do it by killing them?  Both are sins, but one has greater devastating effects.  The man can begin supporting them after a change of heart, but the woman can do nothing to bring back dead babies if she changes her mind.

We Must Be Judged!

Even if our nation were to repent, we would still have to be judged for the spilt blood of 56 million babies on the land. Same sex marriage is being legalized in many states and will be in all other states soon. We have elected a Muslim to the highest office of the land, while promoting the demise of Israel.

We are in judgement right now as our families are destroyed, our children are following after a false Christianity, even those from Christian homes, materialism and electronic devices have replaced relationships and self sacrifice.

Even those who think they are doing well are willfully blind, deaf and dumb to the truth, refusing to listen to wisdom from godly people.
