When the narcissist is in the middle of accusing you of things you know you are not doing you can be sure they are telling you what they are doing!!!
The devil is the father of lies and controls the hearts, thoughts, and actions of the narcissist. What narcissists do and say are the actions and words of the devil.
Revelation 12:10 "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night."
Untrue accusations are always designed to silence those who are truth tellers, as well as confuse us. Those who love the Lord hate if they have done or said something wrong so they agonize over it asking: "What did I do wrong" when the narcissist rages against them.
We live in a culture that blames the truth-teller when the narcissist rages, rather than seeing the narcissist for what they are they align themselves with him/her.
Have you ever been in a room full of people interacting with one another and you happen to disagree with something or attempt to make something more clear with a better explanation and the narcissist irrationally blows up in anger? Then when the others see that narcissist rage they act as though they believe you caused the rage.
Many people are not aware of the tricks of the narcissist, they do not understand that the target didn't cause the anger in the narcissist. The narcissist chose to rage to gain control over the room and cause the target to appear guilty of something to the others who are watching.
I have seen this problem of narcissism increase exponentially in the past 20 years. Many years ago everyone would have been able to see the foolishness of the controlling mean-spirited people, but now it has become so normal that most people have lost their perspective and believes the lies of the devil that come from the mouths of those who are controlled by him.
Don't allow the stench of the narcissist to get on you, remain silent and walk away. There is nothing more satisfying to the narcissist than when they can get their victim upset and defensive. Especially if it makes the target look bad to those observing.
The worst thing a victim of narcissism can do is argue back as though they can change the mind of a wicked person. We become like them when we argue with them.
Proverbs 22:24-25
"Make no friendship with an angry man; And with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, And get a snare to thy soul."
Proverbs 26:4-5 "Do not answer a fool [a]according to his foolishness,
Or you will also be like him.
5 Answer a fool as his foolishness deserves,
So that he will not be wise in his own eyes."
The narcissist deserves to be ignored.
1 Corinthians 14:38
"38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant (ignored.)"
Proverbs 26:6-8 "One who sends a message by the hand of a fool
Chops off his own feet and drinks violence.
7 Like useless legs to one who cannot walk,
So is a proverb in the mouths of fools.
8 Like one who binds a stone in a sling,
So is one who gives honor to a fool."
Proverbs 7:6 "“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces."
Satan's desire is to ruin the witness of the born-again believer so that fewer people will believe them when they speak the truth of the gospel.
Narcissists ruled by the devil have only one goal and that is to elevate themselves and discredit anyone who loves God.
In these last days of selfishness everywhere all the time we can be different as we saturate ourselves in the Word of God and prayer, asking God to continually teach and train us.
