Indifference if a Form of Contempt (Hatred)

Indifference is a form of contempt. As born again believers we care deeply about the joys and the plights of our brothers and sisters in Christ. There is no indifference in one who loves the way God loves.

1 Corinthians 12:26 "26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it."

John 13:34-35 "…34 A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

Every Job of the Believer is Given by God, All the Jobs Matter

Many Christians love to elevate one person above another based on their own idea of special in the body. God does not elevate anyone as better than another. We all have a job to do, if we do that job as directed by the Holy Spirit then God is pleased with us. Only in human thinking is one job more important than another, in God's eyes He see the obedience in the one doing a job, not the status of the job. Think about it!!!!

We have one purpose on earth and that is to glorify God. Evangelism is one of the jobs we have. Encouraging the saints is another and feeding the poor of the church is another. We need hands, feet and all the body parts for the jobs to get done.

1 Corinthians 12:12-26 "12 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot says, “Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body.
16 And if the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?
18 But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired.
19 If they were all one member, where would the body be?
20 But now there are many members, but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; or again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
22 On the contrary, it is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;
23 and those members of the body which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our less presentable members become much more presentable,
24 whereas our more presentable members have no need of it. But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked,
25 so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it."

To Know God!

"The primary purpose of reading the Bible is not to know the Bible, but to know the heart of God."

Which Kind of Person are You?

Does Christ Know You?

Come to Jesus as a sinner, knowing how much sin hurts God. Be grieved over sin. Change your mind about sin & about Christ!

Too many people came to Christ because they were having a hard life and wanted to be bailed out of it. Others came to Christ to be elevated by others as special and superior.

The only people who will be born again and changed into a new creation by Christ will be those who come to Christ broken over their sinfulness, confessing their need for the Savior and praying to be cleansed by Christ.

Only then will Christ come to live in them and seal them with His Holy Spirit. If you have come to Christ for any other reason than to be humbled can saved from your sin and hell, then you came in the back door and will not be saved.

Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’"

I call this the most frightening passage in the Bible. When someone thinks all their life that they are going to heaven but is met with the words at the gate; "I NEVER KNEW YOU."

When You Can't Agree on Anything!

I have known a lot of these kind of people mostly in family. One family member couldn't understand why I don't come around any more. My answer was kind and simple, "we just don't think alike about nearly everything." They tried to convince me that there were things we agreed on but wouldn't tell me what they were. In other words we couldn't even agree that we couldn't agree. LOL

How Many Can Relate To This?

Every Born Again believer who loves Christ and His word will understand this poster.  We are living in the state of the very last sentence in this poster, those who call evil what it is are being persecuted in one way or another.
