How Do They Act When Invited To Learn

What is their response when they are invited to learn through correction, rebuke or instruction? That will tell you where they are spiritually.

Jeremiah 6:15 "15"Were they ashamed because of the abomination they have done? They were not even ashamed at all; They did not even know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time that I punish them, They shall be cast down," says the LORD."

Isaiah 30:8-10 "8 Now go, write it on a tablet before them And inscribe it on a scroll, That it may serve in the time to come As a witness forever.
9 For this is a rebellious people, false~ sons, Sons who refuse to listen To the instruction of the LORD;
10 Who say to the seers, "You must not see visions"; And to the prophets, "You must not prophesy to us what is right, Speak to us pleasant words, Prophesy illusions.…"

The Immorality of America

A "Christian youth group" were at the beach, the men were in low hanging swim suits and the young women were in such tiny bathing suits that they were practically non existent, it would be pornographic to describe them. This was a facebook page of Christians and pictures they posted to show all the fun they were having at the beach.

I rebuked their clothing because they claimed to be Christian. Not only did they come after me with vengeance but so did their youth leaders. Their excuse was that these young people were growing and needed to be cut some slack. I told the youth leaders that they should be instructing the young people from the Bible, that this dress is immoral. Not only were they dressed immorally but the men were climbing on the women in pyramid fashion for a picture.

I gave a lot of scripture, and explanation about men respecting women and was met with such hostility that I am sure if I had been in their presence they would have stoned me. Never in my life have I had "Christian" young people blast me in this way for correcting them over clothing.

The youth leaders came after me using every manipulation that is typical of these days. They called me judgmental, mean spirited, intolerant and more, for my appeal to them about their clothing.

When we see this I believe it is safe to assume they are not born again. Born again believers would be convicted after being saved, before anyone had to tell them. And, if they had to be told they wouldn't fight back, they would be ashamed.

Jeremiah 6:15 "15"Were they ashamed because of the abomination they have done? They were not even ashamed at all; They did not even know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time that I punish them, They shall be cast down," says the LORD."

When a "Christian" rages at us for correcting them, it is a clue they were never born again. Many Christians are disobedient but they are not openly and violently hostile when corrected.

Our culture has gone off the deep end when they think they can be or do anything they please without instruction or correction. Not only were the youth violently rebellious but their leaders were too. I suspect that if the leaders did teach righteousness the youth would leave and the leaders know this.

The leaders in this case used the excuse that "you don't know the hearts of these women", but what they don't realize as I told them, how we act is the indicator of the inner heart. Righteous people don't do unrighteous things. They may have a bad attitude from time to time but they do not live a lifestyle of immorality while defending it.

It was interesting to note that when I asked questions of them, such as "what do you think of the Scriptures I posted?" or "Do you think this is a proper way for women representing God to dress?" They completely ignored the questions and attacked me personally. This is always a favored tactic of the unsaved when challenged to think about their actions. Instead of listening to and pondering the message they attack our "delivery" or "our "attitudes", which are usually lies to make us appear as though we did something bad, mean or wrong.

Believers who has been changed into a new creation by Christ, who love the Lord, might disagree in their infancy, but would go to prayer to ask God if what is being said is true. Non-believer tend to use excuses that justify their actions while demeaning the messengers to negate their claims. If they can in some way diminish the person that brings the message, they feel they have won the battle to do as they please without guilt.

The problem in our Christian culture is not that they don't know the truth about morality or attitudes toward God, they don't know, but the real problem is that they don't want to know when invited to learn.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 "1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."

Isaiah 30:8-10 "8 Now go, write it on a tablet before them And inscribe it on a scroll, That it may serve in the time to come As a witness forever.
