A Radical Change is the Evidence of the Born Again Experience

If there was never a radical change in the WAY one thinks then there has never been a born again experience.

The new creation and different way of thinking is not what we do, it is what God does to us when we have repented and trusted Christ.

Ephesians 2:10
"10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

Fruit of the Spirit Test:

1. 1 John 1:7 If we walk in the Light! Love to be with fellow believers in "fellowship", that is sharing in the word and prayer.

2. 1 John 1:8 "If we say we have no sin we are not born again.
Those who are born again are disgusted by sin.

3. 1 John 2:3 If we keep His commandments. All of God's commandments as written in the Bible. We know we are justified but that we are still in this flesh. We do not keep the commandments to gain God's approval. We desire to keep His commandments.

4. 1 John 2:15 Believer do not love the world. The systems of the world, the lies the enticements. If we find more joy in the things of the world than we do in Christ we love the world more than Christ.

5. 1 John 2:23 If we deny the Son we do not have salvation. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.

6. 1 John 3:2 Do you long for the return of Jesus Christ? This is a sign that we have the Holy Spirit. We are left here to do His work but we long to go home to Him.

7. 1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God does not live and practice a lifestyle of sin. Those who love their sin and practice it every day then these are not those who are born again.

8. John 3:14 Born again believers love the Brethren. We love born again believers, we love to be with them and we love to speak of Christ while with them. We pray for one another, we help one another and are deeply concerned about the brethren.
We love born again believers more than we love unsaved family members. The born again believers are our true brothers and sisters.

9. 1 John 3:14 If we love to hear good preaching and teaching that is bible based we are from God. If we hate hearing about the word from others, no matter how lowly those others are, then we are not born again. those who love the Lord love hearing about Him from any one all the time.

10. 1 John 4:15 Whoever confesses Jesus is the Son of God. If you run from speaking about Christ or become embarrassed about mentioning Christ to others, then we cannot be in the faith.

Those who are pretenders shrink from allowing their Christianity to show out of fear of rejection.

Think About It!!!

Women Who Lead in the Gathering

Women who preach from pulpits in the formal church gathering are leading over men and in disobedience to God.

Beth Moore, Joyce Meyers and others like them are in disobedience.

I notice too that it is Pentecostals who are practicing this mess of women leading over men. They are basing their practices on emotions and desire not on the word of God.

I also notice that much of the preaching of these woman comes from the standpoint of evoking emotions, telling stories and creating a "positive" happy environment that tickles ears.

When preaching becomes about "felt needs" and "feelings oriented stories" it is the first clue that there is not a Bible focus.

Run like the wind from women who preach over men in the gathering. Also run from the other Pentecostal men who support these women!

Women are God's Helper to the Man

God made it very clear that woman are not to lead or have authority over men in the church. However there is a time and place for women to share from the Holy Spirit as long as she is covered when she prays and prophesies, that is expounding from the word just not as the leader. There is an order in the church that Christ gave, it doesn't make anyone less than anyone else it is God's' order for His purposes.

Women are not to lead over men. The woman was given as a counselor to their own husbands and sometimes other men but not as the leader over the men.

Every police chief has their DCPI, the man that comes alongside the police chief to help. This is similar to the role of the woman in a marriage as the helper. This is the reason it is vitally important that women are in the word and prayer constantly. They are very much like the rudder of a ship able to turn the ship this way or that. God gave woman as the helper to the leader. The leader must lead and the helper must help.

I have known women who destroyed their husbands by refusing to help, whether it be by remaining silent when the husband is going the wrong road or the woman who comes against everything the Lord is leading the husband to do. Husbands who will not listen to their counselor is prideful unwilling to take the concerns of their wife to God in prayer.

1 Corinthians 11:2-16

2 Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you.
3 But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.
4 Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying disgraces his head.
5 But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying disgraces her head, for she is one and the same as the woman whose head is shaved.
6 For if a woman does not cover her head, let her also have her hair cut off; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, let her cover her head.
7 For a man ought not to have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man.
8 For man does not originate from woman, but woman from man;
9 for indeed man was not created for the woman’s sake, but woman for the man’s sake.
10 Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.
11 However, in the Lord, neither is woman independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.
12 For as the woman originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman; and all things originate from God.
13 Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?
14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,
15 but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering.
16 But if one is inclined to be contentious, we have no other practice, nor have the churches of God."

One Cannot Walk Away From That Which They Never Had

Josh Harris who says he walked away from his faith, did not walk away from Jesus Christ. We cannot walk away from something we never had in the first place.

This man was a pretenders who had a cultural Christianity based on formulas but never had a born again experience.

Many "Christians" today have some right words, a decent lifestyle that others can see that appear to be righteous, but inside they have never been born again.

A Christianity of formulas is no Christianity at all. When we were born again we were no longer following rules we were in love with Christ Who guides us into holiness on the deepest spiritual level that a pretender can never know.

A Christianity based on the rules is self based faith and not Christ focused. These people are often self righteous, judgmental about things they know nothing of, seeking to appear better than others to maintain an image. These people do not stay focused on Christ but on self and their own accomplishments or what they think are accomplishments.

There are always clues that discerning believer notice that indicate pride and personal aggrandizement in those who have a culturally based Christianity. In my experience those who fall big usually had some indication that they were on the wrong path before the big fall.

Matthew 7:15-20
A Tree and Its Fruit
15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
17 So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 So then, you will know them by their fruits."
