The Devil's Work

The devil's work is to make us become like him through the emotional responses he can evoke. The devil incorporates his tactics in the narcissist to cause pain in the born again believer. The devil's and the narcissists they control want us to come unhinged and angry so they can feel justified in their attacks.

When we do not respond as they would hope because of their tactics, these devils go away.

They might try to come back later for another pass but if we are consistent they learn we will not go back to that mousy whimp they thought we once were. They don't know Who our defender is, but we know Christ!

The devil's greatest tactic for everyone is to provoke mankind into acting in ways that show contempt for God.

Our politics, schools, churches, families and every other venue is under attack to cause anger, war, and destruction everywhere the devil can.

When we know the Bible and understand that the whole world is under attack by devils we do not have to engage in the war. We can ignore it, speak the truth and resist responding to the false accusations and mean spirited treatment.

Be aware that the devil is the accuser of the brethren. He will use people to accuse us of things we are not doing but those who attack us are doing. He will make good sound bad and bad sound good.

The devil will work to demean and devalue anyone who wants to honor and obey Jesus Christ.

Do not let this phenomenon discourage you, it is to be expected.

We are living in the end times full of strife and misery, it is not our home, we are merely here to serve Christ and then we will be going home. And, guess what, we can have joy and peace right in the middle of all of it because we are not tossed to and fro as the unbelievers are, we can be steady and strong as Christ works in us, even defending us while all we do is depend on Him.

Ephesians 4:13-15 "…13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed about by the waves and carried around by every wind of teaching and by the clever cunning of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head.…"

Indifference the Hidden Hatred

Indifference is a form of hatred! If someone cares nothing about what happens to a person in their life then they are indifferent. People who care about others are not indifferent.

Romans 12:10
"Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor."

1 John 4:20
"If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen."

Doing is the Proof

So many people today think all they have to do is say something and that makes it so. Saying without doing is lying!

NO Salvation Through the Law

No one is saved by obeying the Law, we are saved by faith in Christ and He places the Law in our hearts. We have no need to follow what becomes a part of us. Do I need to make sure my hand picks up the fork to bring food to the mouth? No, my hand knows what to do without my mind thinking about it, because it is a part of the whole body.

When we have Christ the Law Giver lives in us and gives us the desire for obedience even if we fail at times.

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

We are convicted by the Holy Spirit when we disobey Him. Our lifestyle is one that comes naturally because our new nature is that of Christ.

Those who seek righteousness by the Law cannot be walking in the Spirit. They are prideful thinking they can do good on their own to please God, this displeases God. God told us to "walk in the Spirit", not in the flesh, that is the flesh that wants to make itself good and special.

Galatians 5:24-25 "24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us walk in step with the Spirit.…"
