Christ Our Best Friend

We have and will lose friends because of our dedication to Christ! God said it would happen, but we can never lose Christ Who lives in us and He is the best friend anyone can have.

John 15:15
"15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you."

Spiritual Pygmies

We sin less as believers but we are not sinless. The cleansing spoken of in 1 John 1:9 is an ongoing process of confessing and removing sin all our lives. There can be no removing of sin unless we confess, the act of confession proves our desire to stop sin in our lives. Those who cannot and will not confess their sin of pride or other sins, will not grow, they remain spiritual pygmies.

Rebellious People Can Never Learn

Rebellious people seem to lack the ability to reason sensibly.

Proverbs 14:6-8 "…6 A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none, But knowledge is easy to one who has understanding. 7 Leave the presence of a fool, Or you will not discern words of knowledge. 8 The wisdom of the sensible is to understand his way, But the foolishness of fools is deceit.…"

Words are not Enough

It is important to be clear about something when we write. Sometimes we assume someone else knows what we mean by something, however we could be leading them astray by not being clear enough.

I hear lots of people saying "I believe in the power of prayer", even the seculars are saying these things. But their's something wrong with this saying, Hindus believe in the power of their prayer, so do Muslims, Catholics and Mormons.

God does not hear the prayer of those who do not belong to Him. We live in a culture that believes as long as we say something it's the same as having done it.

John 15:7 “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

If we abide in Christ, then His words abide in us. If we are speaking our own mind, having our own desires, then we need to spend more time seeking Christ for His mind and His desires.

My trust is not in my prayers, it is in Christ. When those who are in cults pray, God does not hear them, because they do not belong to Christ.

Often narcissists use words to convince people of things that are not at all evident in their lives. They attempt to convince us in words because they know they are not what they claim in their lives.

The louder someone proclaims they are a good person or empathetic or kind, the greater possibility that they are attempting to convince others of what is lacking in their lives.

The Pentecostal movement fostered this idea of "speaking into someone's life", indicating that if you speak it, it automatically comes true. It manifests itself in the form of "name it and claim it" or if you wish to mock it, "blab it and grab it."

Our words do nothing, they are thrown into the air and fall to the ground. It is our life that demonstrates what we really believe. When someone claims to be empathetic and then mocks others who are ill, because the narcissists believes ill people are weak and unworthy of respect, then their words about empathy are a lie.

John 10:9-10 "…9 I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness."

Only God's Words have power, man's words are only as true as the actions that back them up.

Proverbs 12:18
"There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."

Matthew 15:18
"But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person."

Feminism Has Always Been Irrational

Follow the link!

Because feminism was irrational and dedicated to destroying women, it makes perfect sense that the father of lies, the devil would take them deeper into oppression and irrational behavior.

Feminism was never about freedom for women, it was orchestrated by the devil to destroy women, the devil hates women, the best way to ruin them is to snatch them from their God given roles where they were protected and comfortable and place them in the world full of danger and abuse.

Of course there was some oppression of women in the home by abusive husbands, but for the most part in America women were content and fulfilled at home. They were doing what came natural to them.

The devil deceived women into thinking they should want the extra money, power and praise from the world. Now that they have that, their families have been destroyed, their children are rebellious and the home is not a happy place.

Now the devil is going to take one more step in the ruination of women by subjecting them to the hate and subjugation of men under Sharia Law.

Folks, it is insanity, it always has been insanity, now deeper it goes.

It Takes Training and Teaching

Parents are to train and teach while showing what justice looks like. That means we hear both sides of the story, punish the bully and comfort that offended. To "let them work it out", is negligence.

The attitude we were raised with, for parents to stay out of children's fights, were nothing less than laziness.

Children do not work things out properly, they have to be trained how to do that.

I cannot tell you the number of times I and others were bullied by an older brother, while our parents did nothing to this "golden child", making the excuse that "we were too sensitive" or "stop acting like a baby" when we cried at his meanness.

To this day that same brother is rude, mean and self absorbed, almost 70 and still acting like a six year old. When we do not instruct children to care for their siblings, teaching respect and honor, the sibling relationships are destroyed for lack of training.

Some of us tried to instruct our own children but were mocked and demeaned for "making a big deal out of nothing." Because we were not supported by other adults, the children learned the mean ways of those who refused to obey Christ.

Our culture is a mess when it comes to resolving anything. Most people make no attempt at resolving things, they simply act entitled, rude and condescending while refusing to discuss anything to come to a solution.

2 Corinthians 5:16-21 "16 Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.
17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

Christ is all about reconciliation and this cannot happen without dialogue and negotiation, each one resolving to understand the other. This takes empathy and kindness.
