Faith Gets Us There

Ephesians 6:16
"In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;"

When we walk in faith, we will be able to obey the Word, our faith knows that God makes good sense when what He asks is painful and does not make sense to us.

Seek the Word of God to guide you in all you do!

Acts 16:31

Psalm 91:1-16

Do Not Be Deceived

Galatians 6:7-9

"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

Hollywood Heroes

Why are we so surprised when an Hollywood hero is found to have been immoral? Many if not all actors and actresses these days are deeply involved in the occult. They have promoted evil in very subtle ways over the years, now they are becoming more blatantly wicked and hostile toward Christianity every day.

Acting is a profession that attracts those who wish to be noticed, famous and rich, they have no standards except that they defend "no standards."

Emotions, Do Not Let Them Control You

Emotions come and go, they just "are", they have no weight, except if we allow them to control us. We must learn to allow our minds, our thinking, to control our attitudes and actions. Often emotions must be ignored in order to obey God.

Authority Without Justification

"Imperious Ignorance"

Assuming power or authority without justification; arrogant and domineering, while not understanding truth, but appearing to know."

There are many people these days who claim to have authority over others in the church but have not been led by God in such authority. There is no scriptural explanation for this authority, only a desire of others to dominate.
