The Cult....ture is Wrong Most of the Time

When anyone depends on the cult....ture for their truth and how to act they will be wrong every time.

Tomorrow May Be Too Late

I have noticed something interesting happening which leads me to believe we are going home very soon, that is that those who have trusted Christ are becoming more vocal.

Many people who were not witnessing on Facebook ten years ago when I first began on here are now witnessing.

It is as though God has ignited the Holy Spirit in His children to do this right before Christ takes them home. One last hurrah to warn the unsaved before the times of the Gentiles is over and the terrible time of God's wrath begins.

Don't wait until its too late to trust in Christ, tomorrow may be too late.

How to Judge

Here is the criteria for judging a matter:

1. You must not bring up evidence of past forgiven sin.

2. You must not testify about something you have not seen for yourself.

3. You must not testify to what others saw that you did not.

4. You must never repeat something you know to be a lie even if it has a half-truth associated with it.

5. Finally and most importantly your judgment must come in complete accordance with Biblical standards as written in God's Word.

James 4:12
"There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?"

2 Corinthians 13:1
"This is the third time I am coming to you. Every charge must be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses."

It is foolish to judge a matter you did not personally witness.

Diving the Country

The country is becoming deeply divided over internet news that they have no knowledge of except the lies they have been told. This deception thing is working out well for Satan.

The devil has believers fighting one another over news stories without much information except 10 seconds of video clips. I am not talking about any particular story, I just see it all the time over many things.

The devil through out the bait and many bit!!!!!

Unbelievers are burning down cities over a video clip on the internet.

Shame on anyone who made judgements when they were not there to see it, they were not on a jury to see all the evidence and they don't even know if this is all real or acting.

The same people who will judge a matter without evidence will shout "don't judge" when others prove them wrong about something. Talk about hypocrisy!!!!!

This is just how clever the lies of the antichrist will be. He will do lying wonders and most people will jump on them as though they believe every word. When people fly by their emotions instead of thinking they will ultimately make a mess that was unnecessary if only they had waited a little while to think.

Rational reasonable people wait to hear all the sides and see all the evidence before making judgments. Is it any wonder why so many people are fighting with one another these days. They will even fight bitterly over words, just words.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."

Narcissists don't need evidence, all they need is what they choose to believe. Narcissists don't need any actions, only words will inflame them.

They Won't Understand

Some people will never understand what you are trying to tell them about God or righteousness. Let them go and move onto the next person who will listen. If no one will listen keep moving on and leave all the results to God. Its possible God will use your words later in those you have encountered. We never know who is thinking about what we said and will be influenced. It is only when God has moved in their hearts that they will be able to understand.

1 Corinthians 2:14
"The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."

2 Corinthians 4:3-4
"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."

Matthew 15:14
"Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Self Willed Man Centered Churches

When the mega-churches closed down the pastors should have instructed the people to worship at home. When the requirement was no more than 20 people gathering, each household could have had a few people in their homes to do what the first-century church did, that is meeting in homes. Imagine 2000 homes all over the city praising and worship ing God while their unsaved neighbors noticed!!!

Since God never commanded the churches to have paid pastors it would be a simple thing to have the men in each household preach and teach.

In the first century church, the people would gather around the Lord's supper. One would give a prayer, one would ask for a song, and others would speak from the Word as led by the Holy Spirit.

All the men participated as they were led. There was no one man who was paid or who was the only one speaking. This is the model of the first-century church.

God closed down the mega-churches and the one-man pastor led gatherings because they are against what God said to do. Man always think they have a better idea than God.

1 Corinthians 13:29-31 "…29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is seated, the first speaker should hold his peace. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.…"

1 Corinthians 14:26-33 "26 What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and one must interpret; 28 but if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment. 30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keep silent. 31 For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted; 32 and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets; 33 for God is not a God of confusion but of [m]peace, as in all the churches of the saints."

Never do we see God commanding believers to build monstrous buildings to hold thousands of people.

The term "pastor" in the bible is used to describe a gift and calling, never a title or authority over others.

1 Peter 5:2-4 "…2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over them not out of compulsion, but because it is God’s will; not out of greed, but out of eagerness; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.…'

Notice it says "shepherds", not one but several in the same gathering.

Today we live in an apostate situation in which nearly everyone is convinced that they must have a paid pastor who is elevated above the other men, this is unbiblical.

God shut down the churches because they have been defying God's Word for a very long time. There has been testimony that since the churches have been shut down many people have become depressed and hurting without their pastor or their building. The people don't know how to worship God or pray unless that pastor or group is doing it collectively, because they have been taught the wrong thing about the gathering of believers.

There is now a threat that "churches" might be required to turn over their list of members. There is no instruction in God's word to have "membership lists." If the churches were doing as God instructed instead of using human reasoning to keep track of people they wouldn't have lists and there would be nothing to turn over to authorities.

Lists are kept to maintain tax-exempt status. The government attempted to monitor the churches to exempt them from taxes. But here's the thing, if there were no buildings only homes to meet in, everyone would pay their own taxes and there would be no need for accountability to the state.

When we see people becoming depressed because they cannot meet in a large building and listen to a paid pastor we are observing what the people trust in and it is not Christ. When we trust in Christ we can worship and pray anywhere without the need of a building or a paid pastor.

Cultural Christianity has been trained that one cannot worship without that man and that building.

To place our trust in a place to meet and one person to lead is to not place our trust in Christ Who lives in us.

Mark 7:13 "13 "Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters.” "

Mark 7:9
"And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."

God has allowed evil men to be in control of our country and the world because the country and the world is wicked.

Love of security and pleasure has dominated the church gatherings today, Christ is not in most of them even if the leaders use His name.

There is a cult mentality when someone cannot worship or pray unless they are with people, in a building, or led by a "pastor." This is religion not a relationship with Christ.

Depression and despondency come when Christians are trusting in their way of life, their pastor, and a building rather than Christ. Believers need to stop trusting in the people and the building and begin being content with Christ alone.

I wonder how the despondent people would react if they were thrown in jail for their faith?

I am convinced God allowed wicked people to lock us all down so that we can see our own spiritual state. Do we continue to praise God and thank Him for His provision or do we cry and whine that we have been restricted. To become angry that we have been restricted is the same as being angry at God, He is the one who did this.

Isaiah 45:6-7 "…6 so that all may know, from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting, that there is none but Me; I am the LORD, and there is no other. 7 I form light and create darkness; I bring prosperity and create calamity. I, the LORD, do all these things."

Isaiah 31:2
"Yet He too is wise and brings disaster; He does not call back His words. He will rise up against the house of the wicked and against the allies of evildoers."

Lamentations 3:38
"Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?"

Did the apostle Paul whine about being thrown in jail, NO HE DID NOT!

Philippians 1:12-18
The Gospel Is Preached
"12 Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel,
13 so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to everyone else,
14 and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear.
15 Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from goodwill;
16 the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel;
17 the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition rather than from pure motives, thinking to cause me distress in my imprisonment.
8 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this, I rejoice."

Yes, and I will rejoice,

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

Believers, the apostate church is under God's discipline. Rather than complaining about what is happening it is better to look at why the church is under this discipline. Look into the mirror and see if you may be the ones who have trusted in the traditions of men rather than Christ.

Most Christians now are seeing this as persecution but its more likely its God's discipline.

Our people have trusted in the "Constitution of the United States", the "pastor", the "church building", the "culture" and everything other than Christ. They ignore and defy God in favor of their traditions while claiming to believe the Bible.

Pastors it is time to evaluate your own motives to see if perhaps you want the churches open again because your income is no longer coming in as it was before. God never commanded any pastors to be paid a salary. The teaching and preaching commanded by God were to come from the men in the gathering, all the men and no one were paid, they held down their own jobs.

We need to stop complaining about circumstances and watch for what God is doing through everything that is going on now. He is teaching important lessons, I wonder if very many will notice.

God has a purpose in all this, that is for believers to begin trusting Christ again and for unbelievers to become born again. That is far more important than all or our own desires.

They May not Understand Right Now

Cult....ture! Think about it!

What is "culture."

"the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively."

When we go with whatever the culture is doing we are acting the way someone acts when in a cult. That is to do and say and be everything those in the cult expect of us rather than thinking rationally with our own minds.

Christ commands us to think with His mind. How do we do that? The only way to think like Christ is to be born again. After that, we must read His Word asking the Holy Spirit to enlighten us to understand what we read.

Christ in us also uses our life experience to further enhance HIs teachings. Experience is a grand teacher if it is interpreted through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Far too many Christian remain dependent on their own understanding rather than on the truths of the Bible.

Proverbs 3:5-6
"5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding."

Psalm 146:3-7
"3 Do not trust in princes,
In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.
4 His spirit departs, he returns to the earth;
In that very day his thoughts perish.
5 How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
Whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 Who made heaven and earth,
The sea and all that is in them;
Who keeps faith forever;
7 Who executes justice for the oppressed;
Who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets the prisoners free."

To Glorify God

Psalm 19:1
The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

Amos 5:8
8 He who made the Pleiades and Orion
And changes deep darkness into morning,
Who also darkens day into night,
Who calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out on the surface of the earth,
The Lord is His name."

Isaiah 66:2
““For My hand made all these things,
Thus all these things came into being,” declares the Lord.
“But to this one, I will look,
To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word."

Ignore the News Stories and You Will Be Way Ahead of the Game

Foolish people used to say; "it must be true I saw it on the internet." My new mantra is this: "if I saw it on the internet its probably not true. " My plan is to ignore the news stories and concentrate on the Word of God.

Learned My Lesson

I am learning my lesson about the media. For years I knew how they were but now I see their increase in deception far beyond what we used to see just 20 years ago. I have decided if I was not a witness or chosen for the jury I would not be making any judgments about what happens around us, no matter what it is.

Proverbs 6:16-19
"There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."

People are fighting with one another over things they see on the internet. How utterly ridiculous is that!!!!!! We can be easily manipulated with emotion over something that may not be anything like what those videos are portraying.

The antichrist will be doing lying wonders, that is miracles, that people will think are real but are illusions.

We are experiencing this sort of thing right now when we watch something on the internet and then listen to the newscasts that portray it in a particular light, to mold an image in our minds that often have no basis in fact.

Think about it.....have you become angry with someone who does not see the same thing you see on the videos? If you have then perhaps you have been manipulated, entirely convinced about something that may not be true at all.

Perhaps it is best not to read the latest reports, after all, there is nothing you can do about it anyway. Just ignore them if they do not come into your sphere of influence. If they do, consult with God and do what He tells you to do. Leave all the other news items alone entirely so you will not be tempted to fight with someone else about what you think is true and what they think is true. Most of all, do not jump on any bandwagon to fit in with others.

Satan is baiting people into fighting with one another over things they have no control over anyway. If it's not your business stay out of it. When I have expressed my opinion about something on the internet a few times I found out that I had not seen the whole matter and had to vacillate back and forth for which side to take because the information kept changing.

John 8:44
"44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks [a]a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of [b]lies."

Doesn't it make sense in these last days that the devil would bring more lies than usual to cause stress and problems pitting one person against another over things they were not even involved in and may not even be true?

Christ is the Reason!

Born again believers of every people group have Christ in common. There will be no "racism" because we know there is only one race, the human race. We harbor no-nonsense of superiority over anyone else. Only Christ is superior.

The Devil is Busy

Satan is always busy in the minds of non-believers stirring up strife wherever he can. He will also come against believers who are not submitted to the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 6:11-13 "…11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.…"

I have seen the devil continually causing ill feelings in ungodly people to be against one another and against Christians for no other reason than to bring chaos. He loves chaos and ruin the way children love candy.

1 Peter 5:8 "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."

We cannot give into our feelings or our own perceptions. We must think with rational and reasonable minds full of the Word of God to be able to see the difference in right from wrong.

Isaiah 5:20
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"

How do we figure out what is right and what is wrong? Its simple ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten you as you read the Bible, its all in there and clear for those hearing from the Holy Spirit.

Character Matters

Martin Luther King would not have been for rioting and looting. He was for peaceful redress of grievances according to the law.

He said; "I look forward to the day when a man will not be judged by the color of his skin but by his character." So many people leave off the "by his character."

Why do people forget that Martin Luther King was concerned about the character of a man? So many people read his quotes and completely forget that character does matter and character determines actions.

Psalm 1:1
"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;"

The character of our companions tells us a lot about ourselves. We choose to be around those whom we prefer. Those who have constant wicked friends are themselves wicked. No one is comfortable around evil unless they too are evil. Those who have constant kind and good friends desire to be like that.

1 John 2:3-4
"And by this, we know that we have come to know him if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,"

2 Thessalonians 3:6
"Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us."

Those Who Will Not Obey the Voice of God

There are criminals in the world today who will not obey the voice of God. There are police officers in the world today who will not obey the voice of God. There are irrational people who cannot evaluate things in righteousness because they do not obey the voice of God. There are rioters in the world today who will not obey the voice of God. This is the state of our world right now.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times (ragingly insane times) will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of [b]godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."

What is the solution to this mess? It's quite simple everyone who walks in rebellion against God must repent and obey the voice of God.

How do we know the voice of God? God has shown us His heart in the Bible, all we have to do is read it and ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten it so we interpret it correctly.

In order to hear from God, one has to be born again. That means that one has to admit they are sinful and incapable of changing their own heart. When someone confesses this to God and desires to be changed into a new person by Him, He will change them.

Those who have been changed by Christ will never again think the same way they did before. Their spirit has been replaced with the Spirit of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 "…16 So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Although we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:……"

If you wish to learn how to think rationally with the mind of Christ this is the way to accomplish that, be changed by Christ, not of your own effort but through His work in you.

Ephesians 2:10
"10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

When a person walks in the power of the Holy Spirit not much that goes on in the world will make sense anymore. There is much evil, much pride, and much resistance to learning properly, that few will be able to think with the mind of Christ. 2 Timothy 3 mentioned above shows us why so much is so very irrational today. The only hope is to be born again, to walk in joy even with all that happens around us, nothing can take away that joy and peace that comes from Christ.

Narcissism And The Sociopathic Mind

There is insanity all around us!

Perilous Times = Ragingly Insane: Welcome to 2020!

2 Timothy 3:1-5
“Difficult Times Will Come”
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

Abandoning the Truth at the End of the Age

It makes sense that people would abandon the truth as we move closer to the tribulation. I keep remembering that Noah preached 120 years and no one would listen. He and his family entered the ark and God closed the door with only animals and eight people inside.

Matthew 24:37-39
37 For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be."

People make rash judgments based on their emotions and little evidence as we move closer to the tribulation. They will defend sin and fight against the truth. When presented with the truth they will claim it is not.

Rational and reasonable decisions are fewer and fewer these days. Bad is embraced and good is refused. Justice is abandoned in favor of feelings oriented decisions.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears, they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."

Most people in our day will think with their emotions more than they will with their mind, this will be why most people will not listen to reasonable and rational discussion to discover truth.

Born again believers be clear we are going home soon and leaving all this mess behind us. I am tempted to agonize over all that goes on but I dismiss it quickly by reminding myself that God said it would be a time of "raging insanity", at the end of the church age.

The Love of God is Seen in the Lifestyle and Attitudes

The Sins of Attitude

Born again believers do not live a lifestyle of sin. They do sin from time to time and God disciplines those He loves. If we see someone living a lifestyle of sin and defending it, that person is not born again. This includes many things people don't consider sins such as arrogance and false judgments based on little evidence. Attitudes of superiority over others are also sinful. Many things that do not include actions involving attitudes can be sins.

1 John 3:9
9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 2:1-2 "1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."

For what son is not disciplined by his father?"

John 14:15-16 "15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—…"

Resisting the Authorities is not Wise

If you do not want to be treated badly then don't commit crimes. The police departments have some bad people in them, they will not do things as they should. The best way to avoid trouble with the police is to avoid doing crimes.

If a believer is falsely accused do not smart mouth and do not resist.

Matthew 5:38-39 "38 You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’ 39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also; 40 if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well;…"

Romans 13:1-14
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. ...

Now for the final admonition: Never pay attention to news clips that only give half the story, this is foolish to do so. Until you are on the jury to hear all the evidence you cannot take a side.

Praying About Everything

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"16 Rejoice always; 17 pray without ceasing; 18 in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

God commands that we pray every day all day long as we walk through this life we are walking with Him as a friend who is with us every moment.

The Devils are Roaming

We might be stunned if we could see all the devils whispering in the ears of people and those who are living inside of people. We are living in irrational times, times when reason and love do not exist in most people.

The new definition of love is allowing anyone to sin without challenge. Good is called bad and bad is called good. Of course, this is not loving at all, but many people think it is even if they don't say so they act in ways that demonstrate this false love.

1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."

Who is the devil going after in these last days? The answer is everyone. If he can distract the believers from thinking about Christ he can weaken their witness. If he can isolate the believer from their source of comfort and advocates he can further weaken them.

If the devil can keep unbelievers distracted with their prosperity or their trials he can keep them from meeting Christ.

If the devil can make people "feel" sad and despondent he can distract them from hearing the gospel. He can make them feel angry toward those who speak truth.

If the devil can get believers to fight with one another they will neglect their mission of sharing and living out the gospel in their communities.

If the devil can bring fear into the minds of the weak believers he can effectively remove the Christian witness in these times right before Christ comes for His church.

The tactics of the devil are many and varied, but if we know the word of God intimately his devices will have no effect on us. We may not be able to see the devils but we can see their effects.

James 4:6-8 "6 But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.…"

Hallelujah the answer right there in James!!!!

Leaning into Feelings will Lead to Hell

When a culture has been taught to lean into their feelings without thinking, they will never learn to think rationally or analytically.

There was a man who was suing a police department because a police dog bit his child. There was no real evidence of this but there had to be an investigation.

The police chief was concerned about the accusation against his favorite dog so he went to visit the dog and see if he would be capable of biting someone.

The police chief's emotional attachment to the dog assumed the dog could not have done this.

The DCPI for the police chief was unnerved by the fact that the chief had gone to visit the dog. The chief did not understand why the DCPI was upset at that maneuver.

Then the DCPI explained himself; since he was the man in charge of media perception he was concerned about how it would look. The police chief enquired further as to why this was a problem.

The DCPI explained how this would look in the media: "police dog bites boy, Police Commissioner visits dog."

Had the Police Chief thought things through and allowed the investigators to do their job he would not have followed his feelings and visited the dog.

Our culture is rampant with emotional outbursts of rage because people are not stopping to reason through things. They are not open to discussion to come to a consensus because everyone has been taught; "if they feel it, it must be true."

If the people who have been trained to believe feelings carry more weight than the truth they are easily manipulated by others, even the powers that be, can make them feel better about going over a cliff.

The people will feel safe as they plummet to their destruction. This is what will be happening during the tribulation. The antichrist will do lying wonders, not real miracles but illusions that the people love to see causing them to base their decisions on what they think they see and hear.

I recall a demonstration on the internet in which a man had placed a half of a banana in the dirt with half of the kiwi fruit. The man was showing how a "banana kiwi" could be grown if they were placed together touching their cut parts.

Many people believed this foolishness and some actually attempted it only to end up with half of the rotten banana and half of the rotten kiwi fruit.

I showed the video to someone and they were going to go home and try it. I explained that it was impossible. The person loved the idea of growing a banana that would look like kiwi on the inside. I could not convince them it was not possible because they wanted to believe it. Even though basic knowledge of science would prove this was silly, they preferred to believe something that was not true.

This is what we can expect in the tribulation. The antichrist will defy basic intelligence and claim things that are not true but because the people like to believe it and they have been trained to follow their feelings instead of truth, they will be led over the cliff into Satan's dominated world, the tribulation and after that hell.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-10
8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;
9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,
10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved."

Those who refuse to listen to the truth will be sucked into the vortex of wickedness thinking they will be safe. In the first three and a half years they will feel safe, there will be peace and lying wonders to entice the people to take his mark, "666" on their hand or forehead.

After that time the next three and a half years will be the most terrifying the world has ever seen. Even the leaders of the earth will try to escape the evil unleashed but they will not be able to. Only those who have trusted Christ during this time will be able to be protected by God.

You see, this man who claims to be Christ will be the devil inhabiting a man's body. Sadly many people who think they are Christians will follow this false Christ. Those who love to elevate and worship men and leaders will take the mark of this man pledging allegiance to him as their god.

There will be some people, mainly the nation of Israel who will become born again during this time. These are the ones who will be martyred and some protected by God. Everyone else who takes this mark of the beast will go to hell with him when it is over. The beast and all his followers will go into the lake of fire forever.

Revelation 9:3-10
3 Then out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 They were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
5 And they were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment for five months; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man.
6 And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death flees from them.
7 The appearance of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads appeared to be crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
8 They had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions.
9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle.
10 They have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men for five months."

Revelation 6
The First Seal—Rider on White Horse
"6 Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.”
2 I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer."

The Second Seal—War
3 When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come.”
4 And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.

The Third Seal—Famine
5 When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
6 And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.”

The Fourth Seal—Death
"7 When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.”
8 I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth."

The Fifth Seal—Martyrs
"9 When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained;
10 and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
11 And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.

The Sixth Seal—Terror
12 I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;
13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.
14 The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains;
16 and they *said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Know the Word of God, Not Your Own Ideas

Image may contain: text that says 'BRUSHING UP ON THE WORD DAILY. Helps Prevent TRUTH decay... JOHN 6.63'

"He who has too many friends has none!"

A saying I heard recently really resonated with me. I notice that those who have many friends tend to be superficial using much flattery and compliance to ideas they might not otherwise agree with, to maintain those friendships.

When a born again believer is sharing Christ they begin to lose friends. People may still like them but those people will keep their distance. Even acting as if they are afraid of the one who walks with Christ.

Those who are born again connect with one another immediately. They sense the Spirit of God in one another. There is no apprehension or trepidation, only sweet fellowship.

I have met a few people like this in my lifetime, there is no sense that one has to walk on eggshells or that one has to remain silent about what they think to maintain fellowship. Each one is relaxed and genuine, it is truly sweet fellowship. And we find that we agree with one another on almost everything with an occasional and rare exception. When a friend offends their friend they have a desire to make things right, they love their friend too much to let the infraction go, it must be cleared away.

When we disagree we respect one another's right to think their way. We are open and honest but not judgmental about things that are not sin.

Proverbs 18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who stays closer than a brother."

I have friends like this, I don't get to see them very often but when I do communicate with them it is as if no time had passed from the last time we were together.

Disagreements with friends do not end the friendship it only enhances the discussion. When there is love there is an allowance for differences and personalities. Only hate and contempt brings disrespect over a mere disagreement.

Proverbs 17:17
17 A friend loves at all times,
And a brother is born for adversity.

John 15:12-13
Disciples’ Relation to Each Other
12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

When we lay down our lives for others we are laying down our right to influence our fiend to our way of thinking, allowing them to be who they are when it is not about sin.

Even when our friend sins we grieve and hope to influence them not to sin, but we do not act in pride and superiority. Our attempts to bring them back to obeying God is out of our deep love for them, not merely to show them how good we are and how wrong they are, it is to rescue them. Narcissists confront people or attempt to shame them in order to elevate themselves, this is not loving, in fact it is devilish.

I once encountered someone who loved to beat down a repenting sinner with words like; "why did you do it." An attitude like this makes no sense when someone is repenting. We ought to be restoring and weeping with the repentant sinner. It is a joy that someone is confessing to be cleansed.

The "Why did you do it?" question is nothing more than beating down a broken heart a little more for the purpose of self-elevation. Someone who does this has to believe they have never sinned or they would understand that someone who is repenting with tears is sincere and ready to live differently.

The one who asks such a foolish question as "why did you do it" lacks good sense. There is only one answer to this foolish question and that is this: "I wanted to do it", what other reason could there be than this?

We sin because we want to do something that is pleasurable to us. Repenting openly demonstrates a desire to be forgiven and cleansed to carry on to greater holiness.

The one who asks "why did you do it" fails to realize that they are violating Scripture in asking the question. Here is what God says about it:

James 1:14-15
"But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully grown, brings forth death."

Galatians 6:1-2 "Carry One Another's Burdens
1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.…"

Our instructions are to weep with those who weep and restore the broken-hearted by encouraging them they have been forgiven. A friend desires to help a brother up when they fall and walk with them to support them further.

Romans 12:15
"15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep."

Since the narcissist is gleeful that their brother or sister has fallen they do not have love or empathy for their repentance.

The narcissist never admits they ever needed to confess their sin, even though they often sin because of their pride. They see themselves as worthy of worship therefore fully able to condemn a repentant sinner, after all, in their own mind they never were a sinner. Those who think this way cannot be born again. Every person who becomes born again must come broken over their own sinfulness. If they did this then they would understand and be kind and empathetic toward the confessing person.

Those who have repented and wept over their sin were forgiven by God and cleansed. The narcissist was never cleansed, remains in their sin, and cannot be forgiven because they will not confess.

1 John 1:9 "
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Those who are forgiven are those who confess their sin often, and quickly, these people grow in holiness but the narcissist never grows past infancy because their view of self is elevated far above reality. They remain in their sin as long as they remain focused on how bad the others are and how special they are.

Proverbs 28:25-26 "…25 A greedy man stirs up strife, but he who trusts in the LORD will prosper. 26 He who trusts in himself is a fool, but one who walks in wisdom will be safe. "

Those who are trusting in their own goodness while condemning others they think are inferior remain in their sin, perhaps even on their way to hell.

Seek Christ in Honesty

Those who read the Bible to see what they can get away with or justify through loopholes are not seeking Christ. They will be held responsible for the dishonest and dishonoring way they treat the words of God.

Jeremiah 29:13 "13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Deuteronomy 4:29 "29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul."

Proverbs 8:17 "17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me."

Only when we seek Him with all our hearts desiring to know Him and to obey His will, will He answer us in our prayers.

Luke 11:9 "9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

Fighting Silly Things is not for the Born Again Believer

There are many Christians who are fighting the mandates recently made because of the virus. I do not believe we should fight the government. If there is not a clear mandate to wear a mask then I am free not to wear one. However when there is a mandate, such as a doctor's office or particular stores then I will comply. I do not comply because I think the rules are good, but because I don't want to be fighting with people about a silly mask.

The truth is that as long as we are not being told to deny Christ we can comply with the new rules. I don't wear masks where it is not a requirement. However, I do at a particular doctor's office when it is required. Christians should not be fighting with others if it is possible to comply.

Christians if they wish to have a good witness and a positive attitude that attracts non-believer to our God, we must have something they don't have, that is peace and joy through anything. We are not in this world to have our own way, we are here to be witnesses of Christ and demonstrations of His character.

1 Peter 3:15
"But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,"

Ephesians 4:29
"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Romans 12:11
"Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord."

When you see these things happen look up!!!

Luke 21:28

"28 But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near.”

God never said "when you see these things happening look around", or "get busy in politics" or "save your nation." He said "LOOK UP."

What does look up mean: "then look up and lift up your heads; be cheerful and pleasant; do not hang down your heads as bulrushes, but erect them, and put on a cheerful countenance, and look upwards, from whence your help comes; and look out wistfully and intently, for your salvation and deliverance:"

Born again believers are not to spend their last days on earth whimpering or anxiously worried about all that is happening in the world. Our hope is so great and so near that we hardly notice what all the wicked people are doing. Yes, of course, it grieves us at times and we have concern for those who are not yet saved but our daily walk is one of joy and peace in the midst of a wicked generation.

Philippians 2:14-16 "…14 Do everything without complaining or arguing, 15 so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world 16 as you hold forth the word of life, in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain."

When Noah was at the end of his preaching after 120 years God told him to get into the ark.

Genesis 7:1 "1 Then the LORD said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and all your family because I have found you righteous in this generation."

Proverbs 11:4
"Riches are worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness brings deliverance from death."

Noah did not wait around and get busy to save a nation from the wrath of God, he got onto the ark and waited for God to close the door.

Genesis 7:7,13
And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood…

Genesis 6:9
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Noah was considered righteous because of his faith in God. It was not his personal righteousness that was counted to him as being righteous, it was His faith in God. He walked uprightly because of his faith in God not to earn his own salvation. As it is our faith in Christ and Him living in us that qualifies us to be rescued from God's Wrath.

Hebrews 11:7 "7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in godly fear built an ark to save his family. By faith, he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. "

Notice this; Noah by faith condemned the world. He believed God therefore he had the mind of God. He trusted what God said and acted upon that trust.

Are we willing to lose what is familiar to us because we have trusted Christ? Are we willing to let go of our ideas and pleasures to obey Christ?

Something to think about isn't it?!!!

If You Don't Want Your Neck Stepped on by the Police!!!!

If you don't want your neck stepped on by an officer of the law, don't commit crimes. If you are falsely accused obey the officers and God will allow it to be sorted out later.

Obeying officers while treating them with respect goes a long way to being treated with respect by them.

Rebellious people will be treated with harshness because they are a danger to those around them. When rebellion against authority is present there is a greater chance the person will become violent, almost a guarantee. Anyone who feels free to fight authority and resist commands has violence in their heart that could emerge at the slightest perceived provocation, it doesn't even have to be real, it can be all in their own minds.

Provocation to the rebellious heart only has to be a harsh word, that's all it takes for the perp to explode in anger, they are unstable in all their ways.

If you don't want to be arrested or slammed to the ground, don't commit crimes. Pretty simple isn't it?!!!!

Smarting off to an officer is clearly disrespect that leads to violence. Those who refuse to be told what to do will become violent when forced to comply.

While there may be some bad cops just because in every profession there are bad people, but I am convinced that most officers want to do their jobs the right way with integrity.

Romans 13:1-7 "13 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God, and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;
4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.
5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.
6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor."

God is pretty clear here, we are not to resist authority. If something unjust is happening then we can believe God has a reason and will make things right eventually.

To born again believers: If you are unjustly accused and are sent to jail preach in the jail. Sing hymns in the jail and trust Christ through all of it.

Placing Your Trust in a Man is Dangerous

I will preface this article with this: I voted for Trump and I will vote for him again, not because he is a Christian, because he is not, nor because he is doing things conservatives like. I am voting for him because God is leading me to do so for His purposes, however not the purposes so many think. He will not save this nation, He is being used of God but not in the way most Christian voters think. Having said that I explain more in the article below.

I wanted Trump to be what he said he was in the beginning, but I had reservations so I prayed for God to show me the truth and He did.

Clifton Greene that's no surprise! (pertaining to the poster below) Trump is not what people think he is! He is a person who loves Norman Vincent Peale. He called Peale his mentor. Peale's teachings were the "power of the mind." When Trump says "pray for the country he means we should pray to ourselves, if we think real hard on what we want it will come true. There is such a thing as "collective consciousness" in which everyone thinks the same thing at the same time and it will come to pass.

Trump courted the Christians by using their words and phrases but they mean something different to him. He accepts all religions but claims to be Christian, his religion of choice. He has surrounded himself with prosperity preachers who encourage health, wealth, and prosperity because that is what he has clamored for all his life. He fits well with the prosperity preachers who accept any religion, they just happen to prefer theirs.

Trump is not a Christian, he is a ringer courting the Christian community for the voting block he knew was not voting before. He got them to vote by using their terminology. I am convinced you will see a huge change in him after the second election when he has nothing to lose since he cannot run again.

Trump is a test of what it will be like when the antichrist comes on the scene and uses manipulation and verbiage to gain the trust of the people in the first 3 and 1/2 years. Then in the second half of the tribulation, he will literally unleash hell on the world.

Just because the media is against Trump does not mean he is what he appears to be. The media thinks he is ultra-conservative and that he is a Christian because they do not know what a Christian is supposed to look like.

So many people fell in love with Trump because he said things that made them feel proud. He is a master schmoozer from Queens New York. He has written a book called "The Art of the Deal" if you want to know how he maneuvered people to get what he wanted you will learn it from this book.

Yes, we like some of the things he is doing but make no mistake he is not a brother to the born again believer.

Don't get angry with me, just pray about it. Remember the antichrist will use the same techniques with the added false miracles that will deceive many. Many people who believe Trump is a Christian now, will fall for the deception of the antichrist who will claim to be Christ.

The antichrist will fool many because the Christians in name only who do not know their Bibles will fall for him hook, line and sinker. They will become enthralled with him because of the promises he will proclaim but will not keep.

It is time for born again believers to stop looking to this world for their salvation and begin looking up. It was a command of God that we look up when we see all the mess in the world escalating. He told us what to look for. If we are looking up we will clearly understand and stop looking to the world for our peace. Saving our nation is not important to God, many repenting and becoming born again is what is important.

When Christ will come for His Church
Matthew 24:33-34 "33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that He is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened."

2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 "…8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and FALSE wonder, 10 and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them.…"

God has given us a picture in this administration what it will look like when the antichrist comes. Nearly everyone will flock to him believing all his promises and even attacking those who will warn them.

I am not saying Trump is the antichrist, I am saying he is being used of God to show you how gullible and easy it will be to fool those who say they are Christians. Trump is only saying he is a Christian, the antichrist will claim to be Christ and the false Christians will fall right in line to take his mark.

Pray for Trump to become saved before he dies rather than fawning all over him while he is still a false Christian. Hate me if you must but at least pray and ask God if these things are true.
