Thinking Biblically About the End Times

Often God wants us to stop what we are doing and let Him so that His power is glorified. All the miracles in the end times pertaining to Israel are going to be by God's hand, this is why no nation of the world will help them. God wants to get the glory for helping Israel and doing it in such a way that the remaining Jews will trust in Christ because of the incredible miracles He will do.
Those who say we must "do" something to save our nation are depending on themselves and people, not God.
The Jews prayed for many generations to be freed from their oppressors. They turned to God to give them back their land and miraculously without them lifting a finger, God did miracles and gave them back their land in 1948.
Trump had to be taken out of the way so that he would not defend Israel. Our next presidents will not be so helpful to Israel, the bible says this will happen and must happen for God to get the glory for Israels survival against impossible odds.
Sometimes we think we had better do something to save our own nation when in doing that we are actually thwarting God's plan to miraculously save Israel. Yes, two-thirds of the Jews will be destroyed but the remaining one-third will be those who will take the gospel to the rest of the world. The 144,000 Jewish men will preach to the world and many will be saved.
Perhaps we are so busy trying to save a nation that God wants out of the way we forget the bigger picture and God's purposes.
Isaiah 55:8-9
"8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts."
God does not want to save America, He is for saving the nation of Israel without any help from any nation of the world.
For every nation to be against Israel it must include America too.
Zechariah 13:8-9
"In the whole land, declares the Lord, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be left alive. And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
Isaiah 66:8
"Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children." This happened in May of 1948!
When we forget God's purposes we lose perspective and think more in cultural terms than Biblical terms.

Pretending or Authentic

We can discern the difference between a pretender and an authentically born again believer.
The pretender still loves their sinful lifestyle, even defending it and resistant to correction about it.
The authentic born-again believer is broken over their sin and wants to be cleansed from it.
1 Corinthians 6:11
"11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."
Hebrews 12;5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises every son He receives.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"
Hebrews 12:8 " 8 If you do not experience discipline like everyone else, then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. "
Those who are not disciplined by God were never born again. These people go through their life of sin as though nothing is wrong, they are not convicted about it nor do they want to change.
The born again believer hates it when they sin, confesses to become cleansed, and moves on to grow in holiness.
1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 3:8-10 "…8 The one who practices sin is of the devil because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.…"
Born again believers do sin from time to time and confess to move on to not repeat those sins, but the heathen do not believe they sin. They love their life and even mock those who might warn them. They will also use manipulation through name-calling and accusation to intimidate rather than confessing their sin to be cleansed by God.
