We cannot expect anything to be rational anymore. These are the irrational end times.

Prayers that Will not be Answered
I am convinced that God will no longer listen to the prayers for our nation to be "great again." Here is why; most people are praying for the wrong reasons. They are praying for safety and prosperity, but they are not praying for wicked hearts to be changed. Of course, some are, but most are not. We know this because of what they talk about the most.
We know this by the things they focus on continually. I hear only a few people in our country talking about the evils and the need to repent from them.
Isaiah 1:14-16 "…14 I hate your New Moons and your appointed feasts. They have become a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. 15 When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; even though you multiply your prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood. 16 Wash and cleanse yourselves. Remove your evil deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil!…"
Most Christians today have dedicated themselves to pleasure and their human holidays that fly in the face of God. Isaiah was a very timely book, it addressed the sins of Israel at the time but is applicable to us now in this perverse generation.
This generation wants signs, wonders, rituals, and human leaders who will save them to make them feel safe and happy.
Born again believers who are looking up while spending much the word and prayer see the evil and it causes them to look to Christ even more intently than they did before. They see what is happening around them in this world but they are not caught up in the hype of it all.
WHY? Because we are looking up as God commanded us to do.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-4…2For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.…"
Luke 21:27-28 "…27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”"
Where are we to look? UP, we are to look up with great expectations that our home going is soon.

Times of Raging Insanity and Yet Believers Rejoice
We are living in the end times of raging insanity. 2 Timothy 3. Whining won't stop it or produce anything, but the Gospel may save someone's eternity from that of hell to that of heaven.
Yes, I get it, things are frustratingly irrational and violent in our day. I have been tempted to allow it to make me angry. I resist the temptation to become angry because my anger wouldn't do anything.
However, my peace, joy, and resolve to speak of Christ may do something in the life of someone somewhere.
We, the born again believing church is about to leave this world for home, that is heaven with Christ. He will soon sound the trumpet in the clouds calling us up. Then up we go in an instant changed entirely into a new body. What could be more exciting than that?!!!!
There is great hope for the born again believer, however that hope is not in this world, this president or anything else here. Our hope is in Jesus Christ Who died for us and Who will come for us at any moment.
1 Corinthians 15:51-53 "…51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.…"
Do not look around anymore, look up!!!

Going home soon brothers and sisters, it is something to be excited about. Let the Lord not find us agonizing laterally but rejoicing vertically as we wait with anticipation for our Lord in the clouds.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
"Perilous" means "ragingly insane."
It is easy to see the raging insanity that grows every day. A nation that has rejected God and even worse a nation that has claimed to love God but denies Him through lifestyles and the rejecting of His truth in the Bible, can expect for God to remove His protective hand from them.
So many say they love the Bible but they violate more of it than they obey. They use words to profess Him while they deny Him in their rejection of His very own words.
A description of our country and our churches in the country! Every verse is being played out right now in this country.
Isaiah 29:13-14 "13Therefore the Lord said: “These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men.
14Therefore I will again confound these people with wonder upon wonder. The wisdom of the wise will vanish, and the intelligence of the intelligent will be hidden.”…"
Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8‘ These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”…"
Titus 1:16
"They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work."
Mark 7:6
"And he said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, “‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me;"

"And they come to you as people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear what you say but they will not do it; for with lustful talk in their mouths they act; their heart is set on their gain."

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves."

"having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people."

"And the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. You fools! Did not he who made the outside make the inside also? But give as alms those things that are within, and behold, everything is clean for you. “But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seat in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces.
John 5:42
"But I know that you do not have the love of God within you"
America should be ashamed, it is in need of serious repentance but instead, we hear foolishness like; "God bless America" as prideful entitled children expecting we deserve something good when we have thrown God's blessing back in His face. Refusing to obey Him and yet expecting more.
I do not say "God bless America, I say "God bring America to its knees that many would repent and become saved." This includes those who attend church gatherings every week and even their pastors who are silly and flippantly following the desires of their congregations so that they will continue to have a salary. They are paid hirelings protecting their jobs.
America does not deserve to be saved nor does it deserve any more blessing, it misused and abused the blessing it was given, now is time for discipline. God will use wicked people to accomplish this!
Repent and confess sinfulness that those who have trusted in their wealth. their arrogance and leaders will be born again and turn to Christ instead.
