Without Your Mouth

Jesus Christ is the Law Giver, the very essence of God's Law lives in born again believers, that's why unbelievers can't stand our presence, they are convicted even when we say and do nothing.

The Holy Spirit emanates from us like a gentle wind, no one can see Him but they can sure sense Him in us.

The Law in us convicts the unbeliever of their sin, without a word.

While selling ice cream one day from our booth at the fair, I was happy, friendly and engaging as the young people approached our booth to buy ice cream.

I said nothing or made no faces except a smile in serving them. It was interesting to watch the young women with immoral clothing, suddenly for no reason at all pulling the fronts of their blouses together as though they were ashamed.

This happened enough times that I had to believe it was the Holy Spirit in me that convicted the spirit in them.

You see, when the Law Giver lives in us, the Law that condemns sinners of their sinfulness is somehow flowing from us to them. They have the sense of shame, the rebellious ones become hateful, they cannot stand the conviction and will find a reason to believe we must be bad or mean for their own convicting feelings.

So, you think you should have said something, perhaps not, perhaps the Holy Spirit already said what needed to be said even without your mouth.

Nothing in Comparison to Glory

Romans 8:17-19

17 And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him. 18 I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God.…

Authentic Believers Grow in Wisdom

He's There Because God Put Him There

I am not a fan of Trump, but it's not because of his mouth, that's sort of funny to me. It's that I think he may be a deception, showing the people just how clever the great deception will be in the time of the tribulation.

Our country is so "hyper sensitive" about verbiage that we are like whinny babies when it comes to rebuke or correction that doesn't have sugar all over it.

Titus 1:12-14 "…12 As one of their own prophets has said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” 13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sternly, so that they will be sound in the faith, 14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of men who have rejected the truth.…"

Trump was placed by God, that does not mean it will be for good, perhaps for our discipline, but nothing that happens will bother me or frighten me, since I know these are the end times, things are getting worse and we are going home soon.

Self Love is at the Core of Hate

Proverbs 20:3 "3 Keeping away from strife is an honor for a man, But any fool will quarrel."

There are those who are lamenting the growing hatred in particular people groups in our day. It isn't any one people group that is more hateful than others.

It isn't "white" or "black" hate we are seeing it is "demonic" hate. The devils love to cause trouble all the time between everyone. Hate in all forms among all peoples are growing in these last days before Christ comes and it is the devil who can work the hearts of those who are perishing.

Self love is at the core of the hate, the more people worship self the more hateful they will become.

People are people no matter what gender or people group they belong to, they are subject, everyone of them, to demonic influence when they are without Christ.

People are angry about everything, even the silliest most unimportant matters are blown up into mountainous justification to hate.

Contempt for others is growing exponentially every day. When people worship self, there is no room in their heart or their world for love, understanding and empathy.

Life for the contemptuous man is continually full of anger. Anger over a correction, a person who chooses to think for themselves is hated by those who wish to control all those around them.

Anyone who does not worship the contemptuous man will be seen as a threat, targeted for destruction. Welcome to the mindset of the liberal brats who have tantrums when they are not seen as "special."

The devil loves to silence anyone who would attempt to resolve problems. If he can intimidate truth tellers into silence, then he can break every possible relationship.

If he can cause rebellion in hearts that refuse to speak rationally and listen to discern truth, he can keep all fights going forever. It is truth and dialogue that resolve problems, Satan hates resolving anything.

In order for a problem to be resolved, everyone needs to care about everyone else. Everyone needs to be able to place themselves in the shoes of another person in an attempt to understand. Everyone must choose to care about others in order to be able to listen, AND, this is a big AND, everyone needs to be willing to forego something they want in deference to others. Let the silly brats have their way once in a while, take the statue down in the square, that irritates them, if you want one put it up in your own yard. (In reference to the rioting in Virginia recently).

Those who argue and fight over silly matters, are children having a tantrum, let them have their tantrum without notice. We spank children for tantrums, but bratty adults we must ignore, in order to keep peace. Any attention at all given to them is narcissistic food, it keeps them going, getting worse and worse because more food makes them stronger.

1 Corinthians 9:22 "22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men, so that by all possible means I might save some of them."

Ephesians 6:11-13 "…11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.…"

I remind myself often that we don't have to answer everyone who decides to have a tantrum, we can simply ignore them. There were riots and people killed in the streets in Virginia, because one group refused to allow the other group to have their say. Just because the group we disagree with is speaking does not mean we have to listen or respond. The group that responded in rioting and fighting proved their childish and tantrum like behavior to be nothing more than those looking for a fight.

Proverbs 20:3 "3 Keeping away from strife is an honor for a man, But any fool will quarrel."

Authentic Believers and Empathy

There cannot be a lack of empathy in an authentic born again believer. Anyone who is born of Christ would be deeply convicted over their lack of kindness and empathy.

When confession is made to God for the selfish mentality of the believer, God can then cleanse the penitent person, moving them on to greater holiness. God will not change a person who does not want to be changed, or believes they are already great. He will allow their mean spirited soul to wander and falter as they experience the storms of life that will show them a need for truthfulness and confession.

Only those who do not have the Holy Spirit can possess a lack of kindness and empathy for others. When self is on the throne and all actions are based on personal aggrandizement, we know there is sin that is dominating them, most likely there is no Holy Spirit in them.

Authentic believers will be ashamed of themselves, apologize and enjoy forgiveness from God and others as they move forward in holiness. Authentic believers are not perfect, but they do experience shame and separation of fellowship with God when they are disobedient. When they confess their sin and are brought back into fellowship, they are free of guilt and chastisment once again.

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, or lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

Hebrews 12:8 "But if ye are without chastening, of which all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons."

Those who believe they are perfectly walking with God and have no need of chastisement, might want to take a look at the verse that says if you are not chastised you are bastard children, illegitimate, not saved, lost and going to hell.

Praise the Lord when He corrects us to bring us back into fellowship with Him and others, this is a step forward, a growth spurt.

Those who are too prideful to admit their sin will not enjoy freedom from guilt and the blessing of sweet fellowship. They remain full of reproach, freedom eludes them while they struggle daily to justify their own rebelliousness, blaming others, lying against anyone who would attempt to help them return to righteousness.

The world is full of those who are rebellious as 2 Timothy 3 tells us. It is a picture of the end times, a warning to be careful not to become like those who love their pride. When we see ourselves being sucked into the ways of the world through too much contact with them, it is time to "come out from among them", as the Word of God tells us to do.

2 Corinthians 6:17
"17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."

2 Timothy 3:1-5
“Difficult Times Will Come”
"3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."

Our sense of joy is sucked out of us when we remain with those who love their rebellion. The joy that was deep down returns to the surface when we surround ourselves with those who love the Lord, those who care deeply about pleasing Him, obeying Him and living forever with Him. The joy never leaves but the struggles of dealing with rebellious people often keep us so distracted that we feel as if we have lost that joy. We never lose it, but it can be overwhelmed with the nastiness of wicked people, making us think it has left.

How to sense the joy of the Lord again after a round with rebellious people, it is this, pray, read the Word and remove ourselves from those who love their sin and refuse to repent of it.

Don't worry about losing mean people, they know where to find us when they are ready to repent and trust Christ. I am more likely to be patient with non-believers who have never known the way of salvation or the ways of God, than I am with people who call themselves Christians and act like heathens with stubbornness in their hearts and strife in their conversations.

That's just me, I count on the Holy Spirit to make me what I should be every time I need Him, He is always there. I don't have to worry whether I am "doing it right." I know that it will be far different from the way the worldly church thinks we should act. Ignore those who want to suck you into the worldly church mess, let it be the Holy Spirit Who guides and directs.

John 16:13-14 "13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…"

2 Timothy 3:1-5

“Difficult Times Will Come”

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, [a]haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [b]godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

Taking Sides?

Taking Sides?

Those who think they must take sides in the Palestinian/Israel land debate, is created by the believer knowing that Israel has a right to the land, even more land than they have right now.

However, as believers we need to be concerned about both Palestinians: Arabs and Jews learn the way of salvation and become born again.

The Jews in Israel as a whole are not saved just as the Palestinians are not saved, with the exception of a few in each group who have found Christ.

Our bent as believers should not be about one people group against another people group, but rather concern for the people of each group hearing the gospel and trusting Christ.

I support what God supports, that the Jews have their land, while I know that God has all that under His control. God will defend Israel and even add to the land He has given them in the future.

I also support those believers who are Palestinian, those that have trusted Christ and become my Brothers and Sisters in the Lord. My desire is for the Palestinians and the Jews alike to choose to trust Christ.

Those who fight and argue about the land might be missing the mandate by God to go into all the world to preach the gospel. We are not so much about "territories" as we are about people becoming born again.

When we know the truth about the land given to the Jews, let's not lose sight of the fact that the Palestinians need to hear the gospel as well as the Jews who remain lost.

Mark 16:14-16 "14 Later as they were eating, Jesus appeared to the eleven and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.…"
