Self Love is at the Core of Hate

Proverbs 20:3 "3 Keeping away from strife is an honor for a man, But any fool will quarrel."

There are those who are lamenting the growing hatred in particular people groups in our day. It isn't any one people group that is more hateful than others.

It isn't "white" or "black" hate we are seeing it is "demonic" hate. The devils love to cause trouble all the time between everyone. Hate in all forms among all peoples are growing in these last days before Christ comes and it is the devil who can work the hearts of those who are perishing.

Self love is at the core of the hate, the more people worship self the more hateful they will become.

People are people no matter what gender or people group they belong to, they are subject, everyone of them, to demonic influence when they are without Christ.

People are angry about everything, even the silliest most unimportant matters are blown up into mountainous justification to hate.

Contempt for others is growing exponentially every day. When people worship self, there is no room in their heart or their world for love, understanding and empathy.

Life for the contemptuous man is continually full of anger. Anger over a correction, a person who chooses to think for themselves is hated by those who wish to control all those around them.

Anyone who does not worship the contemptuous man will be seen as a threat, targeted for destruction. Welcome to the mindset of the liberal brats who have tantrums when they are not seen as "special."

The devil loves to silence anyone who would attempt to resolve problems. If he can intimidate truth tellers into silence, then he can break every possible relationship.

If he can cause rebellion in hearts that refuse to speak rationally and listen to discern truth, he can keep all fights going forever. It is truth and dialogue that resolve problems, Satan hates resolving anything.

In order for a problem to be resolved, everyone needs to care about everyone else. Everyone needs to be able to place themselves in the shoes of another person in an attempt to understand. Everyone must choose to care about others in order to be able to listen, AND, this is a big AND, everyone needs to be willing to forego something they want in deference to others. Let the silly brats have their way once in a while, take the statue down in the square, that irritates them, if you want one put it up in your own yard. (In reference to the rioting in Virginia recently).

Those who argue and fight over silly matters, are children having a tantrum, let them have their tantrum without notice. We spank children for tantrums, but bratty adults we must ignore, in order to keep peace. Any attention at all given to them is narcissistic food, it keeps them going, getting worse and worse because more food makes them stronger.

1 Corinthians 9:22 "22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men, so that by all possible means I might save some of them."

Ephesians 6:11-13 "…11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.…"

I remind myself often that we don't have to answer everyone who decides to have a tantrum, we can simply ignore them. There were riots and people killed in the streets in Virginia, because one group refused to allow the other group to have their say. Just because the group we disagree with is speaking does not mean we have to listen or respond. The group that responded in rioting and fighting proved their childish and tantrum like behavior to be nothing more than those looking for a fight.

Proverbs 20:3 "3 Keeping away from strife is an honor for a man, But any fool will quarrel."
