Is Christ Just Another Ferry Story?

For those who think because they are under grace, this allows them to partake of paganism for their personal enjoyment, I have some questions.

The first question is, "since your body is the temple of God, and we take Christ
everywhere with us, would He be blessed and honored by our celebration of a holiday that He did not command, and is completely immersed in satanic overtones?"

The second question is, "because we are under grace, should we do things we know are offensive to God simply to be able to indulge in fun and excitement with the rest of the unsaved culture?"

Do we seek to serve Christ or do we desire to bless Him in our activities? Let's no longer use the excuse of grace to be able to hang onto worthless and even destructive traditions.

As a Christian culture we are teaching our children not to lie while at the same time lying to them when we pretend things like "Santa." Pretending is a form of wishing something were so.

Idol imaginings are condemned by God. They seemed cute and friendly when we were children, but on closer inspection after we become born again we should be able to discern how destructive they are.

Why would our children trust us when we take them to church, say nothing about Christ at home, but lavish them with stories that make them desire worldly pleasures every other day of the week?

Christ has just become another ferry story to many children and as they grow up He still remains in that position.

NO!!!! The holidays have done much more damage than they have done good!

What is freedom anyway?

We did not appreciate and have abused our freedom, so God is in the process of taking it away from us.

Freedom is not unfettered chaos, everyone doing as they please, rather it is reasonable human beings acting responsibly with great care for those they may influence or have an effect on the lives of their families, their communities and finally their nation.

We have demanded our personal freedom and rights without counting the cost of blatant and selfish individualism. Now we are losing that freedom, and it is because we removed all restraints on evil to gain that which will cause us to lose all.

How is all this freedom working out for you?
