The Greater Work

When Christ said; "you will do greater works than I", He was speaking about the gospel.
When we give out the gospel and someone becomes saved that is far greater than if a person is healed for this life and has to die anyway.
When someone is born-again they will die away from this life or be raptured but their greatest healing was their soul and the promise of paradise where they will never be sick again.
John 14:11-13 "…11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves. 12 Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.…"
Those who seek healing miracles might consider seeking the healing of the soul that can go to heaven without ever being physically, emotionally, or spiritually sick again.
Just a thought!!!

Salvation is not works but it is more than mere words!

The Lord Jesus Christ will not save anyone who does not want to be cleansed by Him.
He will only change into a new creation those who want to be changed, then they will be a brand new creation called born-again.
If someone wants all of God's blessings and perks but does not want Him, they will not be changed into a new creation. We do not become born again by joining a club or saying some words.
Have you ever known someone who wants all you have to offer them but shows no interest in you as a person, with all your gifts and talents? This kind of person wants the blessings you have to offer them, at least in their own minds, but they do not have any desire to know you. Everything about the relationship is based on what you can give them, not on who you are as a person. In other words, you are a robot who provides, whether it be goods, services, or praise not a friend who also has needs and desires.
Narcissists are like this, they want friends who enhance them but do not want friends who have needs of their own. The narcissist does not want to put out anything for their friend but wants their friends to put out continually for the enhancement of the narcissist's life.
There are many people who view God in this way. They want to "feel" safe and happy for knowing about Christ but have no desire to know Him as a person. They have no desire to please Him or walk with Him in His ways daily. They are claiming Christianity for what they can get out of it.
2 Corinthians 5:17
"17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new [a]creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."
1 John 1:9 "
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Those who wish to be changed by Christ must be willing to confess their sinful nature and desire to be changed by Him.
Those who are authentic believers care about pleasing God, seeking Him constantly as well as being a holy asset to other born-again believers.
When the Holy Spirit moves into a believer's body He is there to do many things that move us further into holiness and obedience to the Father.
If someone does not have the fruit of the Spirit they are not born-again. If there has been no change in the way they think and the actions that come after the thought pattern, then there has been no born-again experience.
Some people say; "that movie changed my life" after walking out of the theater. This is nothing more than feelings-oriented Christianity. Anyone can have feelings about events on the screen, it is not evidence that anything has changed. When the feelings leave them by the next day they resume their life of rebellion and pleasure.
The proof of a changed life comes when the person no longer thinks in the same way they used to think and no longer desires the sinful patterns they had before. Everything is new, the way they think and then the actions that result from that pattern of thinking.
There are many people who think they are born-again, but they remain without fruit and without the resolve to follow Christ. They are satisfied with the title; "Christian" but they become angry when someone steers them toward the Bible for their answers to life's situations.
If you attend church and answer yes that you are a Christian when someone asks you but find yourself embarrassed at the name of Jesus Christ or shrinking away from a conversation about Biblical principles to be obeyed, then it is possible you have never been born-again.
If you find yourself in this state it is simple to confess your sinfulness, ask God to change you so that you can walk as a born-again believer authentically. Don't wait to do this, time is short and Christ is coming for His church soon. Be one of those who go up with His church in the rapture.

The First Vow Stands

The first vow stands, remarriage is adultery. The second vow doesn't supercede the first. How can you make a vow to two people to do the same thing......FORSAKE all OTHERS till death do you part?
~Cheryl Daniel.

The "V" rule!!!

O.K. here's the rule; I won't tell you to get vaccinated and you won't tell me not to get vaccinated. If we all follow the rule then we can be loving and kind to one another.
It might be good to avoid those who are mean and rude who want to intimidate you into doing what they do, no matter what side they take.
Brethren, please stop clicking up on one side or the other and focus on loving one another.
Christ never commanded us to vaccinate or not vaccinate, but He did command us to love one another. It is the second commandment after loving Him first.
What is love:
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
"Love is patient and kind;
love does not envy or boast;
it is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
Love always takes precedence when the mandate or command in the Bible is not clear.
If everyone would stop leaning on their own understanding or on the opinions of others we can live in peace with one another.
Colossians 3:14
"And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."
Proverbs 3:5-6 "5Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
God never said this; "look all over the internet for experts that will say what you want to believe because of your particular mindset."
The deception in the world today is so massive and enticing it has taken both sides of any issue to insanity.
If you love having those worry burdens on yourself over the food, the vaccine, and everything else. Go right ahead but stop beating me over the head with all of it.
Worry, worry, worry about everything all the time brings wonderful indulgent chaos and fighting, are these things really that important, or do they just give some people the sense that they are superior to others for their "news-hound" knowledge? Just asking!
1 Corinthians 8:1-2 "1 Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. 2 The one who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know.…"
I am a big fan of allowing people to believe what they want without being battered and bludgeoned for not choosing the beliefs of others on things that God does not speak about.
Satan just loves how many believers are acting superior to unbelievers about a vaccine. Those who do this are ruining their Christian witness. If believers would be as bold about the salvation of Christ through faith in Him as they are about this vaccine, perhaps someone will hear the gospel and become born again.
I am deeply concerned about the level of angst I see almost every day over something that has no way to save anyone from their sins or from hell.
Hebrews 7:24-26
"24 Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him since He always lives to make intercession for them.
26 For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;"
Just Saying!!!!
