Praying for the salvation of every family member, even those who say they are Christians, must evaluate their own walk to see if they were ever born again.
2 Corinthians 13:5-6 "5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Can’t you see for yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you— unless you actually fail the test? 6 And I hope you will realize that we have not failed the test."
Galatians 6:4
Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else.
James 1:23-24
For anyone who hears the word but does not carry it out is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror, / and after observing himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
Far too many pretenders think all they have to do is "say" they are Christians, and and attend those buildings they call churches and that is the evidence they are saved. The truth is that most who believe they are going to heaven because of what they say are not going to be allowed there.
Matthew 7:21-23 "I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
Pretenders often accuse authentic believers of being the divisive ones, the troublemakers, and those who judge. The truth is that Satan always accuses believers of what his minions are doing, but the believers are not. And, the pretenders have many followers who validate their lies.
We try to warn people about God's judgment, His principles and commands to help, but it is judged as rude or mean.
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."
Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

Projection of the Devil
When someone accuses you of doing what they are doing and you are not, it is projection; ignore it, refuse to be goaded into responding.
It is the trick of narcissists to cause you as much pain so you will come unglued. They love to see their target emotionally unstable. When they see your weakness, they will become worse, twisting things to sound like you are the crazy one.
Never share your deepest concerns with those who love to see your spiritual and emotional downfall.
When you distance yourself from people who do not regard you as someone to love and protect, that is the time to emotionally remove yourself.
1 Corinthians 5:13 "God judges those outside. 'Purge the evil person from among you.'"
Galatians 5:9 "A little leaven works through the whole batch of dough."
When we spend too much time with rebellious and disobedient people, we will become like them, at least to some degree. Even if we do not become like them, we will, without realizing it, validate them through our silence or fight with them when we try to reason with them. Neither way is a good plan for our Spiritual growth and protection.
It is not always possible to avoid wicked people; they live with us, or those who live with us keep these people in our circle. We cannot get away, but what we can do is pray for strength and resolve to avoid them when we can and never become like them.
Romans 16:17 "Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them."
Titus 3:10 "Reject a divisive man after a first and second admonition,"
1 Timothy 1:20 "Among them are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan to be taught not to blaspheme."
Those who deny the evil actions and words of the wicked person will not be of any help to anyone who is dealing with the unsaved, depraved, and corrupt hearts that wish to ruin believers in Christ.
These wicked people will even claim to be Christians while acting divisively to destroy the relationships in their wake.
1 Timothy 6:5 "and constant friction between men of depraved mind who are devoid of the truth. These men regard godliness as a means of gain."
It is comforting to know that God sees all the wicked and their efforts to ruin others.
Romans 2:16 "In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel."
