Words Have No Meaning Without Actions That Match

It is difficult to take someone's words seriously about loving God when their actions say something very different.

It is difficult to take someone's words seriously about loving God when they are dismissive of God's commands.

1 Peter 3:12-18

12 “For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears attend to their prayer,
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
13 Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?
14 But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled,
15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;
16 and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.
17 For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong.
18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;"

Bible Prophecy Is Unfolding Right Before Our Very Eyes...2019

Compassion for Brothers and Sisters in Stress

We must have compassion for brothers and sisters who are going through difficult times. We know that God brings difficulties to believers to strengthen them. God loves us more than we can know, trials are His blessing to us to show us what residue is still inside as well as to make us stronger.

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you.
6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.”
7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

James 1:2-8
"2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

Hebrews 12:8 "But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons."

We are in Spiritual boot camp, we will come out the other side better than when we started if we keep our eyes fixed on Christ.

The Corrupt American Church!

Sadly so many "Christians" I meet have no interest in seeking God about anything. They pray for things they want but violate His word constantly in favor of tradition and their own desires.

Amos 5:21-23
21 “I hate, I reject your festivals,
Nor do I delight in your solemn assemblies.
22 “Even though you offer up to Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings,
I will not accept them;
And I will not even look at the peace offerings of your fatlings.
23 “Take away from Me the noise of your songs;
I will not even listen to the sound of your harps."

Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8 ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”…"

The God Who Loves is the God Who Disciplines!

God disciplines those He loves we might as well accept it and thank God for it.

7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

Hebrews 12:8 "But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons."

Do you want to brag that you never are disciplined by God, then you are saying you are not sons of God.

Feminism the Destroyer of Families and Cultures

Spot on!

We’ve been duped! What happened⁉️
Today's feminist views women who choose to stay home and serve their children and husbands as "slaves" while defending who they are actually enslaved to. GENIUS!!
Men are not the enemy, and homemaking and does not make a woman a slave or a lesser person. 💯
Modern day feminism is toxic and damaging to the women's movement. It is equality between the two genders, but corrupt and on steroids. I support what feminism used to be. I support women who work hard and have goals and ambition, not women who hate men and stomp around with no shirts on to get attention and piss off the public.
Originally, feminists fought for equality. Now, they are fighting for superiority. They want men to become feminine as they become masculine. It is the inverse of what God intended. 💔🙏
I love the role I play in my family as a mother, wife and a nurturer. I love that my husband is our protector. I honor him as the man of the house and my equal partner. We are equal, but not the same. What my husband lacks, I provide and vice versa. We were made to complement each other. Where one is weaker the other is stronger. We respect and appreciate our roles and differences. ❤️
I am a feminist in the respect that women should have equal rights and it ends there. I do not support man bashing or the bashing of women who choose Mom life over a career.
Name ONE RIGHT that men have over women.
Spoiler alert – you can’t. 🤷‍♀️💯
Why call it feminism and say it’s about equality. Why not just use the word “equality”?? 🤯🤯

  • Gwendolyn Wehage said: e! I have taken care of my entire household all my life, made my own decisions, made my own choices and took into account the desires of my husband because I love Him. No one forced me to be somewhere on time, or coerced me to get a job done, I made all those choices myself because my husband trusted me to be smart enough to be able to run the household like a CEO runs a business. I loved being home.

Also, if I had done all the jobs I did for pay for another wealthy family I would have been seen as having a career, but since I did them for our own family without a formal paycheck I was treated by the rest of the culture as though I was too stupid to go to work.

When a woman runs her household well she is very busy and accomplished.

A paycheck does not determine a woman's competency or her worth.

    Proverbs 31.

I do not regret for one minute dedicating my life to my family. I also believe God provided good jobs for my husband because of my decision to remain at home. We saved more money by my being at home than if I had gone to work. Bargain shopping takes time and energy, its what we should do to be good stewards.

Love this post Carole, being at home for the woman is much more natural than being in the work force. Its according to the way God made us.
