Sorrow is not Always Repentance

Being sorry someone will not like us because we got caught in a sin is a far cry from feeling shame that we offended the Holy God.
Crocodile tears are not always brokenness over sin, sometimes they are just sorrow that we didn't get something over on someone.

Apology is not Always the Right Thing

If someone becomes angry at the truth then that anger is on them not the one who told the truth.

We were leaving a church gathering many years ago because of the strong teaching on Calvinism. I was told that we were being divisive for leaving, as though once you attend you are now obligated to remain whether or not you agree with the teaching.

My answer to the person who attempted to intimidate me into believing we were sinning by leaving was this: "it is not the one who points out error or who leaves who is sinning but it is the one who brings the error.

Never allow anyone to cause you to believe you are disloyal by telling the truth or by leaving those who refuse to change their false doctrine.

Under the guise of "just get along as love", many people tolerate and even celebrate bad doctrine so that "feelings" don't get hurt. Sadly to spare a person their feelings we have to offend God.

Does it make any sense to offend God who died on a cross for us just to placate sinful man? NEVER!!!!

Acts 5:29
"29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."

Never apologize to anyone who gets offended by you speaking Bible truth.

"Christian" The Most Misused Term in Our Generation

Most of Christendom today violates more of His Word than they obey.

Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8‘ These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”…"

Matthew 5:19 - "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least. commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be. called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but. whosoever shall do and teach them, the same."

All you have to do is watch what happens next time you correct a disobedient Christian, you will be labeled the mean one, while they rage that you dared to admonish them.

Silence is not Golden, it Brings More Sin

We need more righteous anger among believers. I am sad to say that many believers think remaining silent or calm makes them more spiritual, but it only shows their focus is on themselves and how they appear. They have been intimidated to believe being strong and forceful is ungodly.
