The Power of Christ in Us!

Remember when Christ looked right at Peter and said: "get the behind me Satan?" He was recognizing that the devil was influencing Peter. The point is that most people today, even in the churches, are speaking from the mind of the devil and thinking it is their own thoughts.
Do not take it personally when someone you love rages at you or maligns you, it isn't them, its the devil using their mouths in an attempt to diminish our walk.
The devil uses thoughts and feelings to manipulate many people in our culture. He even tries to turn people against the born again believer, using those the closest to them to intimidate, mock and reject them.
If the devil can keep us in an emotionally one down position he can discourage us, even cause us to sin, but it is still our choice to let him. We have the power within us, that is Christ Jesus to fight against this monstrous being, the devil.
1. "Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7
2. "You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4
3. "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." 2 Cor. 10:3-5
4. "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith." 1 Pet. 5:8-9
Remember these scriptures when the devil begins his attack, he has no power over us unless we allow it.

The Lost Tribes Are Coming Home

THEY ANNOUNCED A WINNER...NOW WHAT?

Personal Idols

To allow others to control and determine our thinking is to have an idol in our lives who we love more than God.

5 Types of People You Need to Avoid Completely! Powerful Motivational &I...

They Don't Know Who is Controlling Them

Narcissists do not know they are narcissists. They are reacting to protect their image. The reason they do not see that they are narcissists is that they are being manipulated by the devil.
The devil makes them think they are justified in their anger, just as Peter thought he was helping Christ when Christ had to rebuke the devil influencing Peter.
Matthew 16:22-24 "…22Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. “Far be it from You, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to You!” 23But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men. 24Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.…"
Because of the influence of the devilish belief in self-esteem in the past 60 years, there are many people who do not self-reflect to see if they are acting properly. These people react according to their feelings which are generated by the devil.
The only way to deal with this is to come against it in prayer that God might deliver the narcissist from the influence of the devil. Spiritual warfare is vital in dealing with those who believe they are right when they have acted badly.
Ephesians 6:10-11 "10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil."
2 Thessalonians 3:3
"3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one."
2 Corinthians 10:4-5
"4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,"
The goal of the narcissist is to break us to follow their way. They will use many tricks in an attempt to cause us to become unhinged, to make us look like we are insane. If we remain steady filled with the Holy Spirit no matter what they do will not accomplish this in us.
The Holy Spirit is bigger than their god, the god of this world the devil. When someone claims to be a Christian but refuses to pray over their sin, even justifying it, we know we are dealing with a narcissist and possibly an unsaved pretender.
Romans 8:37-39
"37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
The goal of the devil using the narcissist is to destroy our witness and our morals. When we know this we are less likely to react to the manipulation. If they can make us look bad it exonerates them from any responsibility for their own attitudes and actions.
May every victim of the narcissist seek God will all their heart during the attacks of the narcissist. May the victim learn to remain silent in the face of accusations and lies, remaining steadily in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The narcissist will work hard at breaking you down but you don't have to let them.
1 Corinthians 10:13
"13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

The Devil in Everything

This is happening a lot in these last days, the devil is into everything and influencing nearly everyone to act badly. I recall when Christ looked at Peter and said; "get the behind me SATAN", He didn't say "get thee behind me Peter" because He was not talking to Peter, He was talking to the devil who was influencing Peter.
Matthew 16:22-24 "…22 Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. “Far be it from You, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to You!” 23 But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men. 24 Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me."
1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
We live in a day when many people are influenced more by the devil than by God because they are resisting God to defend their own thoughts and ideas. But their thoughts and ideas are coming from devils, not from God.
In order to be thinking the righteous way, one must be thinking with the mind of Christ. The only way to think with the mind of Christ is to read His word and ask the Holy Spirit to guide all that you think and do.
When someone explodes at you for exposing their sin it is the clue that they are not seeking Christ. They may be pretenders who care only about appearances rather than truth.
Lots of people in the church today believe they're merely saying they believe the principles of the Bible is enough, they are not concerned about actually living or being holy.
The most abused people today are those who expose the sin in those who claim to be Christians. In 2 Timothy 3:5 God says these people have a "form of religion" but deny God in their attitudes and actions. They refuse to self-reflect to see if they are what they claim to be.
If you want to know your real self, as God to expose whatever is in you that does not please Him.
Just saying you believe something is nothing, the proof you really believe it is when you obey it without effort. We do what we love to do, we obey God when we can't do anything else but obey, so fully compelled by Him that we hardly notice we are obeying.
Romans 8:13-15 "…13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”…"
It is better to say nothing than to say you love God and live as though you do not.

Be Wise in Your Judgments!

"He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are an abomination to the Lord."
~Proverbs 17:15

God is Love and Justice at the Same Time

Trudi said this: "So many friends say that God is love....Yes of course HE is....
But.......be warned!......
When the lawless one comes he will deceive many......
The will perish because they refused to love the Truth and so be saved.....
For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the Truth but have delighted in wickedness.....which means......living without loving God....."
Gwendolyn said this in response:
God cannot be love if He does not have justice. To ignore the sin of murder in someone is an offense against the murdered party. Love must also have justice. Mercy is for those who are repentant not for those who are not repentance.
Isaiah 26:9-10 "…9 My soul longs for You in the night; indeed, my spirit seeks You at dawn. For when Your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. 10 Though grace is shown to the wicked man, he does not learn righteousness. In the land of righteousness he acts unjustly and fails to see the majesty of the LORD.1"
