Does God Always Answer Prayer?

God will not answer the prayer of anyone who does not want to be changed into a new creation by Christ. This is why we see so many who say the prayer of salvation as given by man and have no desire to follow Christ. They simply want to be saved from hell but they do not love God.

In other words, they want peace and safety and all God has to offer but they do not want Him.

We see this in human relationships too. It is always laughable when relatives want nothing to do with uncle Willy until he dies then they come to fight over all his stuff.

This is how many false Christians see God, they want the inheritance and the perks but they do not love Him.

John 14:15-16 "5If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—…"

The false Christians do not have the Holy Spirit, this is why they become angry when admonished to seek the scriptures for their truth and obedience.

The Advocate is the Holy Spirit and will only come to dwell in those who want to be cleansed and led by Him.

John 16:13-14 "13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…"

When we see someone who thinks they are a Christian who is not interested in looking into the Bible and seeking the Holy Spirit we will notice they do not glorify Christ but themselves.

Verse 14 clearly states that any work God does in us and through us will glorify God. If self is on the throne then God is not working in the one who trusts in themselves.

Proverbs 3:5-6
"5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight."

Who or What are we Paying the Most Attention to in These Last Days?

I am concerned that believers are paying far more attention to the elections than they are worshiping Christ and self-reflecting to become more holy, by using the Bible to seek to obey God.

How Dare America Expect God To Listen To Her

We have to remember that the United States is in terrible rebellion against God with few exceptions. God does not hear the prayers of those who are in sin. Many people who are praying for our country are divorced and remarried, or support it in others. Many believers in this country feed their minds of filth regularly in their homes and in the theaters. These Christians never speak of Christ to anyone and are even hostile when they are corrected with the Word. Many people in our country, probably most who say they are Christians have never been born again and these people are praying to save wicked America.

Psalm 66:18 "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:"

Jeremiah 11:13-14 " 14 As for you, do not pray for these people. Do not raise up a cry or a prayer on their behalf, for I will not be listening when they call out to Me in their time of disaster.15 What right has My beloved in My house, having carried out so many evil schemes? Can consecrated meat avert your doom, so that you can rejoice?…"

This is the point we are at in America, full of pride believing we are entitled to blessing and prosperity. Those supporting this idea are Pentecostal prosperity preachers who are full of arrogance and claim things they have no right to have. They assume God owes them whatever they pray for, even a country.

Just because people are praying does not mean God is hearing and just because we pray does not mean we will get what we want.
We must accept the fact that America deserves discipline, we should be ashamed to beg God in prayer to save that which has dishonored and mocked Him.

God shut down everything, the jobs because we worshiped prosperity, the masks over our faces because we did not speak of Him, the theaters because they distracted us from Him. All the things God shut down were things we worshiped and depended on more than Him.

When we complain about the shut down we are saying we don't trust or believe God. When we complain about who will take the presidency we are saying God doesn't know what He is doing.
Since the heart of a believer ought to be so full of heaven and worship to God that we hardly notice the events on this earth. We are not citizens of earth, we are citizens of heaven, living on earth to win souls to Christ so they too can become saved for eternity. Those are our marching orders, not the political arena, not the social arena nor anything else that distracts us from Him.

Psalm 119:15
I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways."

Philippians 4:8
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

Psalm 19:14
"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer."
1 John 2:16-18 "…16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever. 18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. This is how we know it is the last hour.…"

No One Knows What God Knows

No one knows what God knows. We may see our new president become born again and run the country under the hand of God.

To say it was a bad thing the way things have gone, without knowing God's plan is to place our trust in our own understanding, we are commanded not to do that.

Even Joseph who was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers did not whine about it. He said to his brothers later after he was in power in Egypt that "you meant it for evil but God meant it for good. God used Joseph's stint in slavery to move him up the ladder to a higher position. In that position years later God used him to actually help his brothers who didn't even recognize him. Was it bad what happened to Joseph? NO, it was God's will for a greater purpose.

Unless we can predict the future, which we had better not since divination is forbidden by God, then we must trust that God knows what He is doing.

If you believe God is in control all the time and His purposes are higher than we are able to understand then we must trust Him.

Sometimes we are so full of ourselves we think our way is always the best way, when often we are basing our thinking on our own frail flawed and selfish ideas.

Isaiah 55:7-9 "…7Let the wicked man forsake his own way and the unrighteous man his own thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that He may have compassion, and to our God, for He will freely pardon. 8“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.9“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.…"
