The Perspectives of the Christian

I was impressed with this person's perspective of how Christians are acting in politics. She made this comment on Dr. Michael Brown's video about praying for our current president. I am also appalled at the anger shown by many people who claim to be Christians. The following quote is from a person I feel has good insight into the truth about what our attitudes should be concerning politics and the unsaved. Here is that quote!
Weather Moon
"I was searching for videos on "christians blessing their enemies" and I had an Epiphany of sorts- a specific one that reoccurs periodically albeit it seems new every time:
Christ blessed His enemies.
He died for His enemies.
We were His enemies.
If He blessed us, how can we Christians refuse to bless the very same people He blessed
by dying for them- the world? Dying for us? Dying for you? Dying for me?
Why do we Christians revert to David when we want to excuse sin of others (we like), or ignore the red-letter words of Christ? (Who IS the very IMAGE of our Father, meaning in character and in practice, thought, word, and Deed).
We have LOST the fear of God when it comes to seeing the evil within ourselves, but boy howdy, we'll call the fear of God on "others", and LIKE it."

Follow Christ Never a Man

So many preachers these days love the adulation they are given in their congregations, it has caused them to become flippant and playing to the audience rather than preaching from the Bible.

If you look up to anyone so much that no one can criticize them we have an idol and deep pride that needs to be dealt with through repentance.

Luke 4:8
"And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

Never place your hope in any one man!!!! Listen to the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13 "However when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak from Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak; and He will show you things to come."

John 14:15-17 If you love me, keep my commandments. I will ask the Father to give you another Helper, to be with you always. He is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor recognizes him. But you recognize him because he lives with you and will be in you."

How Should We Pray for the Biden Administration?

For Those Who are Hurting!

Many people are hurting right now because they have been canceled by family members and even in their church gatherings.
They have been canceled because they are radically dedicated to the Word of God for their lives. Even if they do not instruct anyone else but have just determined to love Christ and share with others the joy of knowing Him, they are rejected and falsely judged.
Some have not yet figured out that this rejection is not about them at all, its because others who attack them do not love Christ and are not interested in what God thinks about sin.
James 4:17 "So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin."
Some people know they are sinning but want to believe it is not a problem with God so they attack those who do not endorse their sin.
Humility is absent in our culture today, most Christians will never admit their sin, even pretending they do not have any in order to impress others around them. These are those who have many sins but are able to hide their willful attitudes as they walk through life in pretense.
1 John 1:8-10
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
It is only through admitting and confessing sin in our lives, even the small ones no one can see, that we can grow in holiness.
There are Christians who never confess, they cover up or pretend they have no sin, who remain spiritual and emotional youngsters. It is only through confession that God will cleanse us. He will not cleanse someone who refuses to admit they have sin.
1 John 3:4
"Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness."
1 John 1:9
"9. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
God is removing His hand of Spiritual blessing from America is because the Christians will not confess their sins to be cleansed, they have lost their witness in a very dark world.
James 1:12
"Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."
The born-again believers are going to be tested to reveal their true hearts. It is in trials that the real self emerges. Can we admit our sins or do we hide them? Are we burdened by our sin or do we defend them to justify defying God?
These are questions the believer must ask to move forward in holiness and spiritual and emotional growth.
