Christ in Us is Our Power

When Christ is everything to us we can walk confidently independently of the validation of others. Until we can get to the place of total dependence on the Holy Spirit we will be in danger of allowing others to dictate our path. There is no more joyful place to be than to be able to love people but never allow them to punish us into submission to their rules and their ways.

We must need Christ far more than people. Love them, engage with them, but never allow them to bully us into doing things their way that draws us away from the Holy Spirit.

Acts 5:29
"29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men."

Love is Demonstrated in Warning

Living in a culture now in which people think we are mean for warning others about sin, we see the devastation because of the lack of warning. And, for those who do warn we see the rebellion and resistance to correction.

In short: the culture is falling deeply into sin and rebelling not even realizing how ruined their lives are, even believing they are better off they struggle for meaning and purpose in life other than their pleasure.

Ezekiel 3:18-19 "18 If I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die ,’ but you do not warn him or speak out to warn him from his wicked way to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, and I will hold you responsible for his blood. 19 But if you warn a wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness and his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved yourself.…"
