False Professors Solemnly Warned (Philippians 3:18,19) - C.H. Spurgeon S...

How to Deal with NARCISSISTS - 7 INSIGHTFUL Proverbs from the Bible

Answering a Fool is to Become Foolish Ourselves

Proverbs 26:3-5 "…3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey, and a rod for the backs of fools! 4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be like him. 5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he become wise in his own eyes."
A narcissist will attempt to goad us into foolish arguments to feel superior to us, do not do it.
Those who love to elevate themselves use many meaningless words and enjoy conflict. The more you engage with a foolish person the more you become just like him.
Matthew 7:6
"Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."
Proverbs 23:9
"Do not speak to a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words."
Proverbs 29:9
"If a wise man goes to court with a fool, there will be raving and laughing with no resolution."
Pride within the natural man feels the temptation to answer a fool, but God says a wise man avoids them and ignores them. Those who are in love with themselves cannot hear us, nor can they learn if they did hear, fighting to win is their only goal and they count themselves as winning if someone becomes frustrated or angry.
