Keep Your Eyes on Jesus Christ

Keep your eyes upon Jesus Christ and you will not be deceived by all the lies conservative and liberal that are floating around in a drama crazed culture.

If there is nothing you can do about what you have heard, then move on to godly pursuit.

The devil is lerking around every corner to see who he can deceive.

1 Peter 5:8-9 "8Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.…"

Look To Christ Not the News Media

I have decided never to read or look at another conspiracy theory or that "Q" guy, whatever he or it is!

Our focus must be on Christ. I was tempted to consider looking into these conspiracies, thank God He knocked me upside the head by sending me so much of it without real proof that I became overwhelmed. That secret information that has no proof of truth is over the top for me.

God wants me and I believe all believers to be focused on Him in these last days. Yes, we will expose a few things that are posted by credible people but to indulge in secrecy postings is walking over the line.

Also, I learned that it is a good idea to know which sites are satire so as to avoid quoting or posting things that never happened. I was caught up in this just recently with a supposed Trump quote that I shared. It turned out not to be true.

All of us are vulnerable to deception since there is so much of it now. We are safer when we stay to the words of God.

Just my thoughts!!!!!

For Our Good!

Even though the government is acting foolishly, we still know that God is using it for our good, whatever that is! We can trust Christ in all things!

Romans 8:27-28 "27And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. "

Peace That Others Do Not Know

Matthew 6:4-6 "4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.…"

If we are humble it won't even come to mind to tell anyone else the deeds we do. We will be satisfied with pleasing God. In fact, a humble person is embarrassed when others praise them or mention their good deeds.

For the one who loves God just pleasing Him is all we should care about. We gain a wonderful peace in our hearts by obeying God when no one else even knows.

Ignoring the Emotions to Carry on Righteously

I have learned to ignore my emotions to think rationally.

The more I resist the pain of rejection of others and embrace truth the less I can be manipulated and the more I have become stronger.

I can see what people are doing but it has less of an effect on me than when I didn't understand what was happening.

When we don't understand we tend to think we did something to cause the rage or rudeness in others. When we understand the evil that they are doing we know it's about them and really has nothing to do with our character.

This is interesting that a person who worries if they did something wrong is one who cares deeply about acting righteously. These are the people who want to be good people.

The narcissist doesn't care about acting righteously they only want to be superior others. Notice they can never say anything that validates others unless it somehow reflects back on them. They also cannot acknowledge the accomplishments of others, this would be a form of validation, for the narcissist all validation must be about them only.

I find this region of the country rampant with these kinds of people. They learn from one another how to act superior and distant by the examples around them. It is so common they think it is normal and ultimately become like everyone else.

Notice that crude language is becoming popular even among "Christians" as though it were perfectly natural and normal. The reason this is happening is that many Christians are watching shows on television that use this language. We can actually become like the culture we live in even if that culture is coming from the television or movies.

The narcissist does not cooperate with anyone, especially those they tend to think are superior to them. Cooperation means they must submit or admit they have flaws, this is unthinkable to the narcissist. All sense of being underneath someone else must be squashed in the mind of the narcissist.

Often the narcissist talks continuously not leaving room for responses. When we finally get a moment to jump in these people dismiss your statements as if they were never spoken or they were not worth listening to.

I am realizing just how many people surround us that have no concern for us or anyone except themselves.

Colossians 3:14
"14 Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity."

Ephesians 4:2
"2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love,"

1 Corinthians 13-13 "13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the [a]greatest of these is love."

What does love look like? Love is the consideration of others more than self.

"One of the elements of holiness is the absence of self-awareness."

The more we are enamored with our own superiority the less we will be able to even see another person standing in front of us let alone place them first.

Philippians 2:2-4 "…2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others.…"

John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."
