Confessing is Cleansing

God says to believers who are born again:

James 5:16 "16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail."

God said to confess to be healed of that sin, He does not say to be saved again.

Anyone who has tasted the good fruit and walks away, was not someone who was born again. They were like Judas who was with Christ and even acted like an apostle, he tasted of the fruit, saw what he needed to do but never did it. He was never born again.

Sadly our churches are full of those who have plunked themselves in a pew every week, year after year, but never trusted Christ. They went through the singing, the motions, the prayers and the events, but their hearts were never changed into a new creation, they wanted "religion" in their lives to make them feel safe and to be around good people, but they had contempt in their hearts toward God.

Matthew 15:7-8 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8‘ These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”…"

There are those who are confused, thinking that someone can lose the salvation they didn't earn. They are confused because they have seen people walk away after having all the right words and even the right lifestyle, and then one day they slipped back into evil, loving it, raging at those who confront them and even exacting revenge at the ones who tried to bring them back into obedience.

These people were never born again, they played the role, said the words and had the appearance, but never trusted Christ.

God never lies, His Word is clear that attempting to perfect ourselves to keep from losing our salvation is pride and futile. We must let Christ work in us, it's His work that we depend on, not our own.

Someone who is truly born again understands that all the changes in their behavior and attitudes were not because they worked so hard at it, but because they lost the desire as the Lord pruned them and shaped them into His image. HIS WORK.

If you are still trying to be perfect to "appear" that way to others, then you are still walking fleshly and must stop trying to be good in your flesh and submit to Christ. Ask Him to do the changing in you, stop patting yourself on the back for how good you think you are, and, stop judging believers who don't do what you do.

Christ IS working in His children all the time, He never stops. If we have faith we know this, we have seen the change in ourselves over the years and we have seen the change in many who don't appear to be trying, their sins are dropping off because they have lost the desire to do them, they have become distasteful to them.

No one gets to get the glory for changing their own life, it is all Christ, He gets all the glory. Hallelujah!!!

The Heresy That One Loses Salvation

Explaining the Error of the Heresy of Losing Salvation: Because we don't measure up!

No one saved "measures up", only Christ in us measures up!

God does not throw us away because we have sinned. First of all, how many sins would you say we have to do to lose it? How big do the sins have to be? Which kinds of sins cause us to lose our salvation? It is a bad temper once, or a snarky attitude, what?

God never told us which sins, how many or how big, because He did not judge us on the basis of our sinfulness. We are judged on whether we have Christ living in us. When the Father sees Christ in us, He does not see our sinfulness, which is still there, but He sees Christ.

Secondly, 1 John 1:9 "…8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.…"

This was written to believers, God wants us to confess our sins to be cleansed, an on going life long process to grow in holiness, not to keep saved.

God disciplines His children, He does not throw them away.

Hebrews 12:6 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, or lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

Hebrews was also written to believers, not the unsaved.

Pretenders Say What is not True

Pretenders say they love Jesus Christ but deny most of what He says in His Word, as thought they have the option of interpreting the Bible in their flesh according to their own personal desires.

Their god is not Christ but rather themselves, while they claim they love Christ, but it is themselves that they love.

Luke 4:8 "8 But Jesus replied, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’” "

John 14:15 "15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. "

Psalm 119:10-11 "…10 With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. 11 Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You. 12 Blessed are You, O LORD; Teach me Your statutes.…"

"Lion, Witch, Wardrobe" and Shack the Same

Ephesians 5:10 "…10 Test and prove what pleases the Lord. 11 Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."

Do you know what I find interesting?

I find it interesting that so many believers are coming against the movie "The Shack" and had done this also with the book by the same name. My astonishment is not that they did this, because I agreed with them, but my dilemma is that they didn't do the same things with "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", by C.S. Lewis.

"The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", was just as blaspehemous and full of witchcraft as "The Shack", it just manifested itself in a little different form.

In "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", Aslan, the lion that represented Christ entered into a tent with the White Witch, representing the devil, to negotiate the price for sin, as though the devil had any say in what the price for sin would be.

This sounded to me very much like a Mormon belief that Christ is the brother of Lucifer the devil.

It was God the Father Who decided the penalty for sin. The devil is a created being, he has no authority or negotiating power with Christ.

Why did the Christian community not rise up against the C.S. Lewis heresy? My guess is that C.S. Lewis is worshiped as a theologian among evangelicals. He is their golden child, who could do no wrong, therefore anyone who criticizes him is a target for verbal and emotional abuse.

Notice too that the seculars were just as enamored with "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", as they were with the Shack. When the seculars love a movie or book, no matter who the author is, we can be suspect of that production.

Another movie that was recommended and praised was "The Passion of the Christ", which was also blasphemous in it's portrayal of Mary as Christ's strength. There was so much Catholic symbolism in that movie it dripped with it, but since Evangelicals do not know or understand Catholicism they didn't see it. Right down to the Scapula that hung around the neck of the thief, which is an amulet that Catholics are given to wear to keep them out of hell and purgatory. The director of the movie "The Passion of the Christ", was and is a drunken Catholic who still believes in the Latin Mass.

C.S. Lewis was deeply connected to the Catholic church and loved Greek Mythology. He has the elements of all these things in his books.

As believers we need to come against ALL heresy that parades itself as "Christian" no matter how popular the mediums become. Satan has been very clever in mixing a little truth with a whole lot of destructive lies to deceive the unread believer and to keep the truth from non-believers.

In every case of these movies and books people say things like, "it changed my life", which of course is not true, it just gave them something to believe in that was a distorted view of God and His principles, their lives show no evidence of real change. If there was the rare one who became born again in the authentic sense of salvation, it was not because of these movies and books but in spite of them.

The Holy Spirit can use anything to make someone curious about God, but that does not mean that it is alright to recommend these works to non-believers as witnessing tools.

If any of you used these things as a witnessing tool, you must go back to those whom you deceived and ask them to forgive you while telling them the authentic gospel.

American believers are lazy, they jump on every band wagon coming round the bend to let the movies or books do their talking for them. And, perhaps they do this because they themselves love to be entertained.

Instead of knowing the gospel for themselves, knowing the Word of God for themselves, so much so that they can verbalize from their own mouth the salvation message to those around them, they shrink away embarrassed to speak it. But excited to present an heretical view of God through a movie, this way those who hear them will like them. It doesn't matter very much whether someone gets truth or authentically saved, only that the Evangelical gain some praise and new friends.

Shame on the Evangelical church, shame on the American church for using ungodly deceptive, unrighteous works of pagans to influence a lost society.

Shame, Shame, Shame!!!!!
