One Cannot Follow Calvin and Christ Too!

Calvinists treat those who do not agree with them as less than them. There is arrogance wrapped up in the theology of Calvinism.

Sadly too, they don't even realize they are following a man who was steeped in Catholicism even though he left that system. Calvin's favorite writer was Augustine, a ruthless Catholic bishop who never left the Catholic church.

When someone says they are a Calvinist they are saying they follow that man instead of Christ. One cannot follow Calvin first and then Christ second. If they followed Christ alone they would never bring up the name of Calvin.

1 Corinthians 3:3-5 "…3 for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man? 4 For when one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role.…"

For someone to say they are a Calvinist they are violating scripture by following a man. One cannot be a Christian and a Calvinist too! If someone says I follow Calvin then they are not following Christ.

If you are Proud to be an American then You Endorse its Wickedness

If I were going to fly the America flag it would be upside down. In a battle, the upside-down flag is a symbol of a nation in distress. We are deeply distressed and sinking further into sin every day.

I cannot be proud of a country that murders 4,000 babies a day, allows pornography to be rampant, a movie industry that promotes filth and rebellion in our young, worships false gods, perverts the gospel to mean health and wealth, a nation in which divorce and remarriage is rampant and Christians fight those who say it is sin. Are you proud that our nation has endorsed homosexual marriage?

Americans have nothing to be proud about!!!! Rather we should be ashamed, deeply ashamed!!!

Many people live in a fantasy world of make-believe, they think as long as they want to believe something it must be true.....in other words....."feelings are facts."

Stop saying "God bless America" and stop saying "I am proud to be an American." All this is is a sign of arrogance that endorses the freedom to sin as much as one wants without any consequences. If you are proud of America then you are proud of sin and debauchery.

Country Idolatry

If we place any country or region of the world above God to maintain that status of the country or region, then we have an idol.

Many are Like This, They Think Correction is an Attack!

Image may contain: text that says 'Sometimes, we can walk so deep in rebellion, that we believe that correction is actually an attack.'

The Upside Down Flag

If I were going to fly the America flag it would be upside down. In a battle, the upside-down flag is a symbol of a nation in distress. We are deeply distressed and sinking further into sin every day.

I cannot be proud of a country that murders 4,000 babies a day, allows pornography to be rampant, a movie industry that promotes filth and rebellion in our young, worships false gods, perverts the gospel to mean health and wealth, a nation in which divorce and remarriage is rampant and Christians fight those who say it is sin. Many people live in a fantasy world of make-believe, they think as long as they want to believe something it must be true.....in other words....."feelings are facts."

Apostate people need a human hero they can see just like Israel wanted a king like the rest of the nations. People tend to like heroes they can see with their physical eyes. Christ is not enough they need their own heroes based on this life, not on spirituality.

The authentic born again believers are few in this country while most "Christians" are apostate.

Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8 ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’"

The following passage describes the church in the end times:

2 Timothy 3:1-5
“Difficult Times Will Come”
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult (ragingly insane) times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."

If you don't believe me just tell a family, friend, or churchgoer they are living in sin and must repent and watch what comes out of them, this is a real eye-opener.

Here are some things you will hear, but what you hear will never be about the problem you addressed it will be a character assassination of you for daring to point out sin using scripture.

They will say things like" "your mean", "your judging", "you have a problem", "you don't understand", "you think your better than me", "you were rude in the WAY you said it, "your judging", as though judging is wrong.

Did you notice the sinner will not address their sinfulness, they will only attack us personally for daring to speak the truth using scripture?

This is a sure sign of the hearer's heart, they are rebellious, stubborn, and love their sin. Sadly too they enlist other family and friends to come alongside to defend their sin.

Pride is a sin, loving a country so much we are unwilling to speak of its evils is to have an idol.

I hear more about politics and events than I do of Christ on many Facebook pages of believers.

The Lord is coming soon to take His church home, wouldn't it be better to speak of Christ often before its too late for many to be saved. There will be many "professing" Christians left behind when the rapture occurs because they had a form of religion but did not have Christ, just as it says in 2 Timothy 3.

2 Timothy 4
“Preach the Word”
4 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:
2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,
4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.
5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."

Today is the day of salvation, tomorrow may be too late.

2 Corinthians 6:2
“At the acceptable time, I listened to you,
And on the day of salvation, I helped you.”
Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation”—
