Give As Christ Leads

The "evangelical" form of tithing, which is not Biblical has removed the conviction of the Holy Spirit to give as He tells us to give.

Much of the money going to churches today are being wasted because they are using it for fancy buildings and happy parties rather than the gospel, as well as vacations for young people to other countries and calling it "mission trips."

When we give because someone else made us feel guilty we will ultimately end up giving to things with which Christ would not be please while neglecting the things God actually inspired us to attend to, for His glory.

There is no tithing commanded by believers in the NT church, not one place does God tell us to give one tenth of our income. It is a modern idea spawned by men who lack faith and want a secure income without having to trust Christ.

When we trust Christ for everything we don't have to ask for money, nor do we have to intimidate others through guilt to give the way we want them to give.

We can actually know where Christ wants our money to go, in order for this to be done in faith we have to ignore the beggings of faithless people and hear the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 "…6 Consider this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not out of regret or compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.…"

Whom Do You Follow?

If you quote man more than Christ, then you are not following Christ but man.  Follow the link below to learn what the "evangelical" religion is following.

The Modern Church Has it Wrong

One man "pastorship" is not Biblical nor is it good for any gathering. God mandated that there be a plurality of leadership, no one man over any other man in the church. Pastor is not a title or position of honor above others, it is a calling and several men in the gathering should have this calling. When men use their positions as leverage to manipulate and intimidate the congregation, they are abusing their authority.

A pastor is to lead by preaching and using Scripture in context to guide others, they are not to force through tactics of intimidation and manipulation to force others to comply with their own rules.

The ultimate sin I have been accused of, has been to speak boldly as a woman. I have no desire to lead over men, nor do I believe I should be in a "leadership" position in any capacity. I merely love to speak about the things of the Lord to anyone who would enjoy embracing a conversation about Christ and His principles.

Those who are in love with Christ and cannot hold back the blessings of understanding the Word are discouraged to share if they are a woman as though the Holy Spirit in them does not work in a particular gender. I cannot count the number of times I have been rebuffed for sharing, not about the words I said but the fact that I shared at all.

I cannot help it, the Lord drives me to share and speak truth as led by Christ. Christ lives in all believers and all believers have the gifts of the Spirit. Yes, there are different roles according to gender, but one gender is not elevated above another in terms of the gifts, all believers have these gifts and should enjoy and love sharing as led by the Holy Spirit. Many in the modern legalistic church dominate to control, they are not interested in sharing to help.

I believe many of these wrong ideas are due to what has been taught in seminaries, where techniques are taught above the working of the Holy Spirit.

Love Corrects to Spare Shame

LOL. LOL, seems like someone would have told her, but then again they might have hurt her sensitive feelings so they just allowed her to look stupid.

I had to share this because I am sure that several others saw that sign before she went out there to march, but thought they were being kinder by not correcting her.

It reminds me of a story someone told me once about meeting up with a man who had something horrible in his nose and regretted that they didn't tell him. Had they told him he could have fixed it and avoid humiliation throughout his day.
